Overall: When I first heard about this title my first thought was "alright it's time to take it back to the future and kick some HK butt!" I have to say that so far I am not dissappointed. The idea of fighting along side of the legendary John Connor in one of the coolest post apocalytic settings ever to come out of Hollywood was just too hard to resist. The opening sequence alone is enough to draw you into game and make you want to relive the man vs. machine experience. Maybe I havent played the game long enough to discover all it's faults so I'll just go off of what I do know. And it's basically this, the game rocks and is a good solid buy for any fan of the movies and fps.
Gameplay: The controls take a bit of getting used to (or at least they did for me). I'm sure most people feel that the Halo control system pretty much raised the bar and set the standard so there really isnt any use in trying to compare the two. Just do what John Connor would want you to do. Adapt and try to survive in the world run by thinking machines. Once you get used to the consantly changing camera angels and the targeting system, which is pretty simplistic I guess, you can have a lot of fun with the game
Graphics: I dont generally wet my pants over stunning graphics or flawless frame rates so I found myself actually very much impressed with the graphics. I totally enjoy futuristic environments in video games so I ate these right up. Although the guns in first person mode could have been a bit better. They have a blocky cardboard cut out kind of feel that is at times hard to ignore. But since it's a video game and not an oil painting you can forgive it. The hand to hand combat animations and 3rd person views are very cool and that helps keep you into it. Plus stuff blows up real good and looks good doing so. Just dont expect Halo style detail of course.
Sound: I really dug the sound in this game. Explosions sound cool and who doesnt love the whirring mechanical noises that the termintors make. The rock soundtrack really goes along well with the combat and the movie music helps keep you feeling like your actually there. Even the voice overs are cool although they can become a bit repetitive after awhile.
Suggestions: Maybe tweak up the graphics a bit in first person mode. I dont mind playing games like these alone, but sure, mutiplayer probably wouldnt hurt.

Overall: People people people. Stop the whining and play the game. Terminator: Dawn of Fate is an exhilarating thrill-ride of fun and worth every dime. Pounding hard-edged beats drive your pulse up to a panicked rate and make your palms sweat. Action, weapons, destruction, explosions and more destruction. Just what I wanted... and in 5.1 surround. Give me my medal dammit.
Gameplay: I bought this title without reading any reviews on it. Doing something like that is so frequently a foolish act of faith in the game. I was not disappointed. Some folks have said the gameplay is overly repetative, with easy auto-aiming and all. It simply isn't so. You have the choice to use this feature to auto-target enemies with "lock-on", but this game is much more fun and challenging with the first person trigger pulled and manual aiming with the thumbstick. Running from room to room with wildly changing camera angles is reminiscent of some of my favorite movies. That was a big plus for me. There are many weapons and explosives to shoot or throw. Hand to hand combat with an electrical stun baton is awesome. No controller throwing has occurred while playing this game (thus far).
Graphics: Cut-scene animations are, for the most part, rough and sometimes downright blocky. For that I am only taking off .5 points. Gameplay visual appeal really made up for it and impressed me to no end. Frequently I find that I stop running and pause to take in the surroundings (just as I did in that famous Bungie game... what was that called?).
Sound: Sound appeal.... There are pantloads of it in this title. So far this game has made more of an impression in sound appeal than most games bought or rented. The 5.1 digital soundtrack is hard, crisp and has tons of deep bass you may miss without a powerful sound system with decently large subwoofers. The way the grinding metal guitar chords swell as the tension points of the game arise surely puts me on the edge of my seat. Environmental sounds are eerie and make for a truly immersive ambiance. I could go on and on, but it is sound after all. Either it is great and memorable, or it isn't.
Suggestions: As usual... multiplayer and soundtrack control should be a given. And what's up with the below-average cutscenes? This is the XBOX after all.

Overall: I seen a review on this game that gave a 5.4 huh. It !&%$@#* sure must have been the PS2 version. This game is very good.It has good views on the way this game was based on.Check out my views on this game below.
Gameplay: The nonstop action of this game will keep u on your heels. It has a only a few weapons. But it has the hand to hand combact for those pepole who like that.I've only played it for about a hour or so as of now but im loving it.
Graphics: Now this is where things could have been proped up.The graphics arent all that great but they are ok.I havent seen the PS2 one but im pretty sure there about the same.
Sound: The sound is very nice one of this game strong points.I listen to all kinds of music so im feeling the rock and roll in the back ground. The game sounds are on point with the terminators sounds and guns fireing.Explosions could be little louder tough.
Suggestions: Make the Graphics better and this game could really use multiplayer.
