My overall appeal is a very cool game. It's really hard to compare this game with any other XBox game during the launch. The only thing I can think of is that it seems to be like Zelda64 on steroids!"

Overall: the world is endanger and you need to help free perathia, sounds good right? wrong... stay away from this game
Gameplay: hack and slash, no skill at all... hell, you get lucky even if you hit someone... plus it takes about a minute to kill one enemy... this is supposed to be an adventure game... not and RPG
Graphics: bleh graphics... it looks this gen, but definately horrible, not for us graphic lovers, needs more shine
Sound: bland and boring, there are a few cool songs, kinda like morrowind, but the voice acting is all the same, same actions and same words

Overall: DDAAAAGGGGG THIS GAME IS BOOORRINNNGGGG. Waste of time, waste of cash, waste of space, waste of perfectly good plastic cartridges
Gameplay: OK, the concept of elemental Powers and A Big all powerful staff sounds good, but my god does it suck. Myabe it could have been good...but they ruined it.
Graphics: Graphics are nice i have to admit. The environments look nice too.
But it sure as hell ain't enough to save the game
Sound: My god...ugh... =( i cant even describe it well.. MOST boring music EVER!! EEVVVVEERRRRRRR. Its enough to put you to sleep while you're playing.

Graphics: okay visuals...i like the little cutscenes because they attempt to capture the xbox's technology to the fullest
Sound: i hated the sound in this game..i think this is a contributing factor to being bored with this game...

Overall: After a few hours of gaming, I'd had enough. Azurik is an embarrasment to the xbox system, not to mention a waste of hard earned cash.
Gameplay: Azurik is the only one who has the skill to save his world from evil, this is his adventure. Its a dull one aswell. Sadly, the concept is quite good, what was done with it wasn't. The controls are awful, in particular the camera has a tendancy to get in the most obscure and useless angles, it makes the game difficult to play. Add this to one of the worst physics models ever, in which Azurik will float for several seconds during a jump, and there you have it... Frustrations galore.
Graphics: The game starts off well, the opening cinematics look quite impressive, but it goes down hill fast from there. The graphics are bland at best. Some of the textures look interesting but pixelate heavily at close distances. In dark caverns Azurik and his foes appear radioactive, Lighting themselves through some mysterious bioluminecence, due to the abomanable lghting and shadow effects. Wishy-washy at best, this is not why you bought an xbox...
Sound: The games one saving grace is the sound. The music is good at times.
Sadly, once again there is something to pull it down. Azurik's sound effects are duuulll... The environments seem dead at times, and the details that we would expect, simply arent there.
Suggestions: I took this game for my money back, im sure many would do the same... If a sequel is to be made they'll have alot of work to do to convince me to buy it. Next time? Remember to put a game in there somwhere...

Overall: This game overall isnt a good one. Hell a monkey smoking a cigar is more entertaining. The storyline is cheap and horrible, burt making a game is probably very difficult and when the designers actually finished they probably found out they arent getting much of a bonus.
Gameplay: Bad story, looks like something someone came up with while eating dinner and are looking at their food and seeing hamburger discs of meat power, and little blue guys trying to protect it.
Graphics: The graphics werent so bad, but good graphics with a bad game will bring nothing to the table. I would rather play a game with bad graphics with a fun game.
Sound: Sound wasnt too disgracing. But the music will get annoying after 2 hours. I honestly would rather pop in a fat lady blowing her lungs out then listen to another song.
Suggestions: You could've tried much harder honestly, make good games not good graphics.

Overall: An adventure/rpg. You are Azurik the protector of the elemental disks. The disks are shattered and scattered all over the world and it is your job to find them and bring balance. A bit of a plot twist at the end, but overall a crappy story. Oh yeah and you're blue, like a smurf.
Gameplay: Kinda like Zelda but without the fun. Terrible camera system takes away from gameplay. Playing the game requires a lot of time consuming running around. The combat system is nothing special. I did enjoy the boss battles though.
Graphics: The graphics are nice and colorful. The enemy design is also fairly good. Some levels are fairly massive. There are some clipping issues in certain places.
Sound: I think i enjoyed the voice acting. It wasn't great though. It wasn't around the level of say Halo or any Blizzard game. The sound effects were adequate nothing more.

Overall: I thought I liked RPGs, I had high hopes for this game long ago, but
I ended up not liking it. From the very bad camera work, to the silly
storyline and crappy looking enemys, I just didn't get into this game
like I thought it was. Making this game even a bigger let down (prehaps)
a little bit unlucky for the game, this was the first game I ever played
after Halo.
Gameplay: I found the gameplay very boring, the controls hard to get a hang of,
and the enemys terrible (as I said before). Most of them were too easy
beat, and the rest you could almost walk right by without being touched
by them. They could have done much better developing them. I didn't like
the storyline at all, I think they could have got better writers. It was
almost too like The Legend of Zelda (find the parts of the tri-force). The
difference is, I loved Zelda, it didn't require deep writing back in
those days. But nowadays, we require deep stories (ala Max Payne).
Graphics: The graphics are the best aspect of the game, but they aren't up to
par. The play is smooth and the character models are nice, but they
could have done a better job on the enemys. The terrain is good but
not great. The overall world is done nicely with many many different
aspects to it. It is prehaps the biggest and best "atmosphere"
graphically.
Sound: I didn't like the sound at all. The generic weapon sounds we have
heard before, and the voice-acting is nothing short of bad. This part
hurts the game a lot as the background music is annoying. The music
really took me out of the game after the story didn't catch me.
Suggestions: Don't make a sequel.. if you do.. fix the enemys, fix the sound, hire better writers, and hire better actors.

Overall: Ummm it started out as an amazing adverture, but after an hour or two it became a swim through Elephant Crap. The only thing I liked about this game was when I first entered the ocean and how small your character was, was amazing. But it would have been more enjoyable to have had no arms.
Gameplay: I did like the way you would use magic, I thought it was interesting. But it got really anoying switching powers.
Graphics: Giant Smurf or dude that fell in a toilet when in an air plane? Those are really the choices but the overall graphics were.........crap.
Sound: I think after this game is when I decided to chop my ears off and eat them because the noises and music were catastrophic.

Overall: dig games based on elemental powers like Nightcaster, but Azurik just couldn't bring all of the action adventure elements together that it needed to. The story is good enough, the gameplay mechanic of utilizing the right combo of elemental powers is definitely good enough but the camera control isn't tight enough and the levels aren't solid enough to compel any but the most dedicated Azurik fan to stay involved in this game.
It's okay for Microsoft to put out niche titles that aren't everybody's cup of tea, but there can't be too many more first party games that have basic gameplay flaws like an uncooperative camera or illogical level design. Sega, Nintendo and Sony have always made sure that their games for their systems were well executed, even if the concept was way off. With Azurik, the concept may not be very original but it's certainly strong enough to warrant a game but it should've been a game that looks and works because its on the Xbox.

Gameplay: Evil camera system and random level design lead to a lot of frustration and tedium. Elemental power system is clever but poorly executed.
Graphics: Framerate is steady but the animations on the enemies and environmental textures betray the capabilities of the Xbox.
Sound: The music does its job of setting the mood but the sound effects on the bad guys and main character do not. Nice audio channel separation.
Suggestions: blech... that is all i have to say.

Overall: the gameplay is very hard and takes strategy to get through it, the only reason this game gets bad reviews from those non gamers that say "its too hard" is because umm.....there non gamers:D(sick of the game now since i already beat it)
Gameplay: it has great gameplay, a little too much like a puzzle game at times though and not enough roleplaying involved....besides that it gets boring fairly fast
Graphics: not that great but the video sequences are ok but backgrounds and character desighn isnt all that great
Sound: typical adventure game, same song over and over again, so just pop in a cd in your cd player and start playing

Overall: I'll be blunt, I believe the only reason this game originally sold, was for it's coverart making it look somewhat cool! Repetition is the key factor, levels are long, but graphics are find. If you expect a HALO type game from this than you guess wrong, way wrong!
Gameplay: One word, Lame. You fight monsters that look as though they're out of a fairy tale, in a "G rated manner", and the fighting is VERY lame, almost delayed-like and like a turn-based-fighting. The worlds are not filled enough, too much walking to do, not enough AI and interraction. A letdown at it's best.
Graphics: Visuals are the ONLY strong point of Azurik: Rise of Perathia. The characters look find, but world elements and features, as well as detailing could have, and should have, been MUCH better. No need to release a game on Xbox without exploiting it's full potential, right?
Sound: Boring, lame, nursery-rhyme-like-tunes is a good summary. Do not expect Star Wars-like scores and compositions. Event he voice acting is bad. Spend more time next time around!
Suggestions: You should have spent much more time working on this game. It was a failure, in my opinion, and does not deserve a sequel!

Overall: This game has some interesting graphics and ideas, but just fails to have any kind of draw. Where they tried to break away from traditional game play of this genre, they failed b/c of bad implimentation.
Gameplay: There's some neat ideas here. The whole elemental powers/power ups was almost nicely done. Having several power ups, and having to choose which one to use was a nice item. However, having the powers run off a power bar that you refill by killing monsters is tired. Your weapon is severly underpowered! It takes about 6 hits w/ a bladed staff to kill the weakest monster. Once you knock them down, they are immune to further damage for 1 second-- which allows them to get back up, and for some charge you also. Also, you have some nice combat moves which allow you to attack enemies in all directions when they circle you; however, (again) the enemies AI sucks, so that you use the same tatic on everyone-- run close, dodge their attack, then counter. You have 2 buttons to attack; however, (AGAIN!) one of them is usless, so you have less moves than Double Dragon 2 of the NES. Sad, really. Also, where you need to go is often unclear, so you are forced to muddle through.
Graphics: I liked the graphics. They were clean, flowed well; and I thought the monsters were pretty cool looking. Too bad the gameplay was so dull.
Sound: Nothing much can be said here. The sound is the normal attack swings, some fire stuff, the usual. Nothing special.
Suggestions: Improve combat, and make the goals more obvious. Add a map.

Overall: this game is good, but i must balance out the over scoring from everyone else. i would give it a 2 or a 2.5 (maybe even as high as a 3) but way too many people are giving this a 4.5 or 5. BE OBJECTIVE PEOPLE!! high scores should only be for near-perfect games where everyone can see the quality. anyway, this is a nice action/adventure game but doesn't do anything to warrant a high score.
Gameplay: the controls are easy enough to get use-to. the "battle engine" is simple, 1 button for a straight attack, 1 button for a swing attack. the dificulty comes from using the elements. usiing the right element combo will quickly defeat opponents, but this isn't always needed, since you're never really overwhelmed with enemies. a big drawback is the camera issues, sometimes it controls itself, other time you need to do it, but a lot of the time it's not in the best place.
Graphics: there's nice use of color from time to time, some of ther darker levels, seem gloomy, but that's only cause the game never really shows much detail. the backgrounds all seem to run together; it almost feels like 2d until you run into an enemy.
Sound: i don't even remember any background sound/soundtrack so it can't be that good. the attack sounds all sounded similar and canned.

Overall: This first thing I'll say about this game is that it's ADDICTING. Azurik: Rise of Perathia is a great action /adventure game. This game appeals to those who like to explore and aren't restricted to a linear path. Azurik must quest through out his world to recover the lost elemental discs that holds his world together. If you like the games where they usher you from point A to B, this isn't your game. If you like games where you have to explore and revisit place already traveled, then this is your type of game.
Gameplay: This isn't a typical slash and hack through to get some item type of game. Through his quest, Azurik will gain elemental powers that can be combined to offer an array of tools and weaponry to assist him. For instance, Azurik must gain the elemental power of Fire and Water, combine them, and use it to melt large ice blocks blocking access to other areas of his world. With fire also brings light, this gives the ability to light up a dark cavern and see where you're going.

The controls are pretty straight forward and easy to use. The left thumbstick controls movementment, the cross pad controls camera rotation and zoom. The right thumbstick controls the camera angle. Combinations of keys with the left trigger activates his elemental powers. My only problem would be with the camera and Azurik's jumping. The camera angle can get annoying to adjust at certain times especially when you submerge and surface in water.

Azurik can jump and pull himself up over certain obstacles. At times, when you think he can climb up an obstacle he can't. Other times when you don't think he can, he does.
Graphics: The game's graphics are stunning. The visual effects look great and the colors nicely reflect the current realm he's in. When you're on a high ledge or structure, take the time to look around and enjoy the scenery. Looking down at the worldpool in the middle of the water realm from the top of the tower is a magnificent sight.
Sound: The music is one thing that really draws you into the game. It really reflects the feeling and gameplay. It's a score you would expect to hear in an epic film. It gives the impression of the enormity of the realms and the world as a whole.
Suggestions: Tweaking the camera mode. The combat mode merely zooms out and gives and overhead view. An auto-follow or director's view type of camera mode would be nice.

Overall: I was excited more than ever when this game came out. I thought, "Awesome, Xbox has already come out with their own Zelda Games." I was wrong. I played this game for a couple of hours and had accomplished nothing, but find out how to die and move around. This game is an ok game if you can figure out where you are supposed to go and what you are supposed to do there.
Gameplay: I found the controls to be simple to learn and I was able to continually create new weapons/armor from the assortment of different powers. The enemies in this weren't that threatening looking, but packed almost too much punch. If this game had a little bit more storytelling and direction (not as much as the obvious Agent Under Fire) then it would have pulled me into the game slightly more. I was stuck running around... well around.
Graphics: The graphics are rather amazing. I could see the changing in light when the sun rose and set. The transition from outdoor to indoor to indoor/outdoor areas was superb. Eventhough, the game seemed more interested in having all of the different types of climates and weather than it made sense, I found this game to be more visually appealing than Artic Thunder and some other I will not mention.
Sound: The music was good... sometimes. I wish there was more of a variety, but alas we can't get everything. The sound effects were on target, but they were missing something. It didn't pull me into the game all too much.
Suggestions: Give me some direction and I shall follow, give me some guidance and I shall learn, give me some help and I will win.

Overall: Colorful adventure game, somewhat Zelda-like but with more adult feel. Interesting weapon, large environments, long game. Unfortunately not well-implented and feels essentially unfinished.
Gameplay: Despite N64 poly-counts, Azurik provides a beautiful world to adventure in. Unfortunately, it's just not fun to play. A little buggy, lousy combat, highly annoying camera and formulaic elements.
Graphics: Totally last generation graphics, although environments are still beautiful to behold. A mixed bag at best, only if you're open to it.

Overall: Ok, to all those people who absolutely HATED this game, it probably wasn't made for you. This game has many aspects to it; action, adventure, problem-solving, etc. The game has some minor camera flaws, but to give it a bad rating is being ignorant. I admit during the game there are both intense and dull moments, but overall it is a good game. In the game you look for the different elements, Fire, Water, Earth, and Wind. You also must find the elemental discs, that were destroyed and sent seperate ways in perathia.
Gameplay: The game does have its occasional boring spots, when you are looking for things, but it has some very intense moments when searching for the Fire element. The combos get boring in the begining because you can't use the elements, but as the game goes on it gets better.

Graphics: Awesome visuals. The games simply looks awesome. Heavily detailed are the people, building, tree, plants, water, EVERYTHING is just awesome in this game.
Sound: The sound effects in the game are pretty well done, with the exception of the rocks and buildings. If you hit a rock and a building, nomatter what it is made of, it sounds the same. A VERY minor flaw.
Suggestions: Make a sequel.

Overall: Azurik is a nice game for those of you who like spending time on a game. But for those who are looking for an action packed game, then this is not for you. Azurik is more of an adventure type game. Aside from the actual fighting; the mazes, puzzles and pure hunting for your goal, it?s a great and challenging. It?s very slow paced for those who don?t like intense action and mayhem.

Gameplay: I know you might be thinking that this is just another Ac it is. The gameplay is normal, and the obstacles that you face are challenging. But not challenging in the sense of physical fighting or leaping to your next destination, it?s challenging because it?s hard to find certain things. Remember when I said that this game has beautiful and vast terrains? Well, they make you pay for that when you have to go searching for a switch. If you are into these types of games where you have to search for things, then it?s perfect. Otherwise, you will be like me, lost in an ocean of beauty and mist. Also, this is not one of those games where you pick up and beat in one day; it will take you several months to finish. The fighting in this game is rather dull. You can only jab, swing and do a jump-slash combo. That?s it. Oh yeah, you can add powers to your blade, but you can?t throw it or shot anything from it. Well, maybe in the future level, but where I got up to, there were no projectiles coming from my blade. But you also have to think, he?s fighting with a blade, not a rocket launcher. But one thing I did like is the way you can mix elements together to find a way to destroy an enemy. It?s like you won?t use Earth or Air to destroy a snowman?Fire would be more reasonable; which is the beauty of this game. Every enemy has a weak spot, but it's up to you to figure which elements to use. Also, you will have to use the element to open certain areas like if you have a huge ice bolder blocking your path, then using fire to melt that boulder will get you pass.

Graphics: Azurik is one of those games that make you want to say ?Wow?. Azurik uses a special engine which allows for massive landscapes to be constructed with out a major performance hit. This game runs smooth, but at times, can frame up a bit. But aside from that aspect, the environments are incredible. How many times in your life do you get to see a waterfall and a ?lava fall? at the same time?side by side? Also, this game is based on viewing the environment, so you are given the ability to swing the camera to where ever you feel comfortable with, but you will always stay in the third person view. The characters are more on the blocky side, so you won?t see many smooth curves. But I guess that was they approach they were looking for.
Sound: The soundtrack in this game is amazing. Although some might not dig the orchestra type music, but it goes along with the adventure you face. The voice acting is great, and gives you that feeling that you are playing with mythical gods and you sound like an apprentice?a god in training. The ambiance in the game is distinct and very sharp. So be prepared, you might hear something behind the mountain, listen to your instincts.

Overall: This is one great game. People either love it or hate it, but it definitely doesn?t deserve the review bashing it got in the OXM. This game is a called an action adventure game. It has a hack and slash element while also delivering challenging puzzles. Those puzzles range from very easy to very hard. Some of them have you kick yourself after you solve them because you realize the clues around you that you didn?t pick up on. The developers did a wonderful job with this game, especially since they didn?t have the final development hardware till a few months before the game was done.

Another great feature of this game is the length. It has about 80 hours of gameplay or so in it. This can also very somewhat depending if you use a walkthrough and how well you do on the puzzles. It takes a long time even if you use a walkthrough, you will get your money out of this game, which is a refreshing change.

The one thing that most people don?t do when they play this game is to give it some time. It takes awhile before the game is really interesting. I would say you have to play it for at least 6 hours to give it a fair shake. After that, you will be sucked and addicted.

Gameplay: Controls on this game seem weird at the beginning; especially with the camera view, but after some time it becomes second nature. While you search for the elemental disc to help restore Perathia, you require your elementarily powers. The four powers: Earth, Air, Fire, and Water, each have 3 levels. These powers can be combined to create other powers with your Axion (weapon). Such as Fire and Water form steam. These powers are used to beat the many creatures that you will encounter throughout the game. They also will open up locked areas of the game.

The save platforms where sometimes scattered far apart. This frustrated me when you would die and had completed a lot of the game, only to do it again. I ended up using the save anywhere cheat. Be careful not to use this cheat on moving platforms though. Monsters re-spawned once you came back from a save point, this was tedious at times.

Graphics: Azurik is a beautiful game. The graphics are very impressive for being a launch title and having so little time on the final development hardware.
Sound: Sound for the game is rich. The music that accompanies the game is very good; my only complaint is there are times when no music is playing for an extended amount of time.
Suggestions: More save platforms is a must. A new approach to how the monsters are re-spawned. I can understand if something is opened up that new creatures are there, but creatures already destroyed should stay dead.

Overall: This Game was Fantastic. The developers spent alot of time on this game and I totally enjoyed it.

The puzzles are hard and to find all the different disk fragments, obsidians, and other misc items gets to be quite challenging.

The Controls are awesome!!! I wish more games would have killer controls like this that are well thought out. Makes life so much easier.
Gameplay: Like I said the controls are awesome. The sountrack on this game was really thought out well. It totally fit into the entire gameplay.

The story line for this game was done very well and is fun to play and go through and find out what happens at the end.

Wish there was a save anywhere feature but after some looking on the net and finding the cheat codes that the developers put in such as:

Light code, camera code, and save anywhere

These make the game more playable and fun.
Graphics: Stunning, the graphics on this game are just too incredible. The textures in some places and underwater swimming and things like that just are completely amazing.
Sound: The sound is perfect, you can adjust it really well and it works great. The music doesn't over power the sound FX and vice versa.
Suggestions: should have added the cheat codes i mentioned before as added feature but then that might have taken away from the game play of the game. more save platforms would have been better if you decided to stay with save platforms.

THE CREDITS!!! the game is so worth passing just for the credits. I laughed so hard:

"Fire Air Water Feet..."

Overall: doesnt appeal to me really....i expected way better then this from an xbox game...one of the worst xbox games around...you can put this along side kabuki warriors...yes!..its that bad
Gameplay: the actual gameplay is average i guess...the type of game where ya go running around swinging something hitting bad guys and all that good stuff but this game happens to get dull after doing it over and over again...nothing amazing
Graphics: the graphics are the only thing alright about the game....but thats sometimes...the only nice thing i seen is the ice and lava everything else looked average....and under the water is horrible...the way he swims is so hokey..very stiff..geez...the guy from jungle hunt moved smoother then this blue guy...and the enemy models are terrible..you can tell the game makers did not put any time making them...the way they move the way they look its just bad...i could of made up way better enemy models then they did
Sound: another disappointment....the music sucks...you hear the same !&%$@#* song over and over and over and over again...its looping..another freaking lazy job by the game makers
Suggestions: umm...if your gonna make games please take your time and stop wasting our money on games as poor as this...its a waste of dvd disc...a waste of plastic....a waste of earths natural resource...stop wasting petroleum our oil for games like this and our electricity....and anybody who gave ratings above a 2 must be on crack...and how dare you compare this game to zelda and even soul reaver...doesnt even come close...zelda looked, felt, sounded 100 times better and was 500 times a better game then this...honestly,no joking around....dont buy this game..your probably better off buying shriek

Overall: All I can say is boring boring boring. This game really looked like it was going to be a classic Xbox adventure game. Turns out it's a flop. Sorry guys, this one's got to go!
Gameplay: The 3D realms were done well (I'll give them that) and many different opponents to face was great. However, everything else? poor poor poor. Some points I just found myself sitting and saying WHAT? or WHERE!? and just getting frusterated. Now I'm not one of these ppl who can sit at a video game for 3 hrs w/o enjoying the 3hrs. Sorry Azurik you were the fall of Perathia!
Graphics: As said before, the graphics were well done. A rough edges, however, overall a nice touch on the backgrounds and especially on the characters in the story. As well, the weapons were crafted well as one of the premiere items in the game.
Nice Job!
Sound: The sound of serenity....Ah..how peaceful..over and over and OVER AGAIN! Has ANYONE noticed the constant repeating of the 'not so serenity' music anymore...it just adds to the frustration of this game. I bought it and was so disappointed, however, the ppl at the store must have been happy cuz they found a sucker to buy this game. At least I may get half the value on the trade in.
Suggestions: Where do I begin? I don't. Don't even think about making another game like this before actually looking at reviews!

Overall: This game is Zelda on crack, and we all love Zelda, and if you were ever a crack addict you know that we would all love crack.
Gameplay: Like I said before, like Zelda on crack. It has just enough stuff to do to please you, but leaves you wanting more.
Graphics: Umm, Like Zelda on Crack....Needs much more in the visual department, but we all still loved Zelda. Go link boy...Go.
Sound: Ummmmmm.....Needs a lot of work. Hard to listen to the guy talking to you at the mirrors when you are whooping some booty.
Suggestions: Kiwi, Kiwi, Kiwi. Alot of rubbin with a nice soft rag dripping with ice cold water with kiwi on it... Remember...lil circles...lil circles people.

Overall: This game is not the funnest game on xbox, but it sure is a game for people that like games that have no point to them!
Gameplay: The controls just down right suck, especially the element system, u have to hold L(left trigger) then push a button to get that element, not what u wanna do when a thousand enemys are attacking you!!!
Graphics: Cant go wrong with the xboxes graphics, these graphics are good, but not the best xbox graphics, ive seen.
Sound: sound sucks.............................................
Suggestions: DONT MAKE A SEQUAL! UNLESS IT HAS A POINT AND BETTER CONTROLS!

Overall: Wonderfully different atmospheres, and beautiful environments. Interesting puzzles, and nice staff based powers. My wife actually asks me to play it so she can see the story unfold. Long game play time, so you won't finish it super quick. Also, about the only adventure game for the XBox so far.
Gameplay: What can I say, it's an adventure game. Walk, run, jump, swim, dodge, attack, fly. It's all there, you just have to do it alot to make the story unfold.
Graphics: This game is bueatiful. Reminds me of Ultima IX, which I loved the feel of the world. The ice is something to behold. And Mr. Blue dude looks stunning. Underwater could have been better, but the waters surface during the storm is wonderful.
Sound: Beautiful sound tracks, but the attack sounds do get old after the first 200 times of hearing them. It would have been nice to hear something different once in a while.
Suggestions: Give user ability to modify contol layout like in Halo. Once you kill monsters, they should stay dead forever.

Overall: I thought this would be an RPG type game, but it was more like Mario with a spear. I really wouldn't recommend this title.
Gameplay: Running around collecting crystals while taking cheap shots from little monsters is not my idea of fun.
Graphics: It's ok. I found He looked really stiff while swimming. The camera angles were bad in the water too. But the graphics still were pretty good. Visualy speaking, what's up with that stupid spiky hairdo?
Sound: Average. Not too much to get excited about.

Suggestions: Ummm....How about giving us a game that doesn't suck.

Overall: I am very impressed with the game overall. I thought I would have a hard time getting into it and thought I wouldn't like it that much because of the demo. I was wrong. Don't base your opinion of the game on the demo. Rent it first.
Gameplay: The Gameplay to me is fun and challenging. Normally I would get rid of a game like this as soon as possible but, the puzzle solving and being able to go around and explore is fun.
Graphics: Very impressive graphics. It looks beautiful and it's awe inspiring. I loved the detail in the game.
Sound: Just awesome. The soundtrack is great and the music is beautiful. Plus they play the right type of music at the right times.
Suggestions: Just to improve on the little things. I'm sort of a perfectionist. I was looking for small things that weren't there. Like foot prints in the sand where he walked, more realistic bubble effects when swimming to the surface, etc... The game is amazing and I hope it gets a sequel. It deserves a sequel.

Overall: Azurik is a fantastic game. I have seen lots of people posting !&%$@#* ty reviews of this game. I personally love this game!!!!
Gameplay: The gameplay is awesome, the controls are a little tough to pick up on but as soon as you have them down they prove to be truly great. Also, the storyline is good, the only criticsm I have is the lack of a creative main menu (not that that matters!).
Graphics: The visuals are stunning! When Azurik uses his powers it's awe-striking. Also, deatiled landscapes and very creative villians/creatures.
Sound: The sound is pretty good, nice chiming sounds when a power is used is cool, and grunts and screams when enemies are killed, very cool!
Suggestions: Work on the length of the game
