Lost Planet: Extreme Condition
Overall: A very interesting game...The thermal energy bar is quite the innovation. Good storyline, good voice acting...AND AWESOME MASSIVE MECHS (VSs)!!! It's worth it. The game is flawed, though; more on that in gameplay.Gameplay: It's sort of annoying to try and look around, and there are many purposeful additions to the game that I would've been happy without. Every hit you take causes you to stumble around or fall down...And it takes a loooooong time. Plus, enemies are constantly following up on attacks, leaving you...dead. Wayne also seems to be lacking agility for such a fast paced game.
Graphics: The graphics are amazing! you can see every hair on Wayne's fur coat, and the facial expressions are pretty good. Some really good explosion animations too, though they really get in the way of gameplay; enemies seem to be unnafected by thick smoke.
Audio: some really nice voice acting rounds up the game. The gun shots are okay, but explosions have very nice sound quality.
Suggestions: I think others agree when we ask to take out all the useless stumbling...It's really annoying! A local multiplayer mode would have been awesome too.
