Future Shop stores opening at midnight for launch of Xbox One
(Burnaby, BC) November 19 – Celebrating Xbox’s biggest launch in history, Future Shop is opening more than 100 store locations across Canada at midnight on Thursday night to get the Xbox One into the hands of anxiously awaiting gamers. All Future Shop stores except for locations in Quebec and Sudbury are opening at midnight. A minimum of 20 unreserved consoles will be available for sale at every midnight location.
Carrying on the launch day excitement, every Future Shop store in Canada – including Quebec and Sudbury – are opening early at 8:00 a.m. to sell the console, games and accessories. Fifteen unreserved consoles will be available at every store when the doors open Friday.
Xbox One giveaway at every Future Shop store
One Xbox One console will be given away at each store’s opening – 11:45 p.m. for locations opening at midnight; 7:45 a.m. for stores in Quebec and Sudbury. Giveaways will be conducted by random draw.
Midnight opening at Future Shop’s downtown Toronto store
Toronto gamers are in for a party commemorating the arrival of Xbox One at Future Shop’s flagship downtown store. A live DJ, advance game play on the Xbox One, gamer’s grub, giveaways and more. This store will have 250 unreserved consoles available for purchase.
