Tomb Raider "Definitive Edition" confirmed for next-gen at VGX
Lara Croft made a surprise appearance in a new trailer revealed during this year’s VGX. Well,mostly surprising, anyway. The trailer saw Lara dodging gunfire and various dangers before revealing Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, the next-gen remake of this year’s hit game, set to come to Xbox One and PS4.
The Definitive Edition will come in full 1080p, with environments and character models fully updated for next-gen consoles, though it won’t come with the 3D support currently seen in the PC version. Crystal Dynamic’s Scott Amos added that all of Tomb Raider’s DLC would also come included in the Definitive Edition. As the Amazon listing suggests, the package will also come with a digital art book, six outfits, and a digital comic.
Looks like the Tress 2.0 hair animation experience won’t be exclusive to PC owners anymore.
