(RUMOR) - Battlefield 4 DLC: Second Assault coming Feb. 18, Mar. 4 non-premium
A release date spotted on EA’s Origin store in Germany indicates the upcoming Second Assault DLC for Battlefield 4 could launch 18 February for Premium members on Xbox 360, PS3, and PS4. The date remains unconfirmed at the time of writing, but if accurate it means non-Premium members would be able to access the map pack on 4 March.
An update for the game which rolled out 30 January was, according to a post on Battlelog, ‘mainly designed to prepare the game for the upcoming release of the expansion pack Battlefield 4 Second Assault’, and so seemed to point to a sooner-rather-than-later appearance of the new expansion.
Second Assault was launched as a timed exclusive on Xbox One in November, and contains four ‘fan-favourite maps redesigned in Frostbite 3’. In addition to the new maps, which are Caspian Border, Operation Metro, Gulf of Oman, and Operation Firestorm, Second Assault features five new weapons, the dune buggy vehicle, 10 new assignments, and a CTF multiplayer mode.
