Forza Horizon 2 coming September 30th
Forza Horizon 2, the follow-up to 2012s Forza Horizon, will launch on Sept. 30, Microsoft announced today at its E3 news conference.
The game is is in development on Xbox One at Playground Games and on Xbox 360 at Sumo Digital. Publisher Microsoft Studios announced the game last week. It is set in the south of Europe, whereas the original game took place in a fictionalized version of Colorado.
Turn 10 Studios, the company behind the Forza Motorsport franchise, released Forza Motorsport 5 at the launch of the Xbox One last November.
Ralph Fulton, creative director for Playground Games, said Forza Horizon 2 will feature more than 200 cars, dynamic weather and a full day-night cycle in 1080p.
Moreover, driveatars from Forza Motorsport 5 will already be in Horizon 2s population at launch.
