Harmonix officially announces Dance Central: Spotlight for Xbox One
Harmonix, a game developer best known for its music-based titles like Rock Band, is launching a digital-only update to its Dance Central franchise for Microsoft’s Xbox One.
Dubbed Dance Central Spotlight, the game will allow Xbox One players to once again sync up their dance moves with characters on-screen, the company announced at Microsoft’s Xbox E3 press conference on Monday. Details were slim on the game, but it’ll be available exclusively on the Xbox One this fall as a digital download. It’s likely -- though not confirmed -- that Microsoft’s motion-sensing Kinect will play a crucial role in the game.
One interesting note from Harmonix: the company says gamers have "danced" to over 220 million songs in Dance Central games.
