Halo Championship Series Pro League Kicks Off at PAX East
The Halo Championship Series Pro League Invitational has been announced and will be unveiled at PAX East 2016 by ESL. This tournament will also determine the second team that will receive an HCS Pro League invite.
For those of you who are following the whose who of each team, here are the final rosters for the Pro League Invitational:
Evil Geniuses:
- Suspector
- Roy
- Lunchbox
- Snip3down
Optic Gaming:
- Naded
- Flamesword
- Maniac
- ACE
Enigma 6:
- Cratos
- Huke
- Bubu Dubu
- Shooter
Team EnVyUs:
- El Town
- Rayne
- Mikwen
- Pistola
And for you eSports fans out there, here is the Tournament Format:
- Winner qualifies for HCS Pro League
- Double elimination
- Matches will be a “Best of 5,” until the Winner’s Finals, Loser’s Finals, and Grand Finals, which will be a “Best of 7.”
- Teams will be seeded based upon Halo World Championship performance
- Halo World Championship map and game type rotation will be used
The tournament will be held on the ESL stage at PAX East on Sunday Apr. 24 at 12 p.m. EST, and we invite all Halo fans in attendance to drop by and watch these incredible matches. For those who prefer to watch this star-studded event from the comfort of their own homes, you’ll be able to watch all day on Twitch.tv/Halo.
