Sennheiser Launches GSP 300 Gaming Headsets at Gamescom 2016

Sennheiser launched the first product in its all-new gaming range – the GSP 300 closed acoustic gaming headset while at gamescom last week.  Described as a headset designed for players wanting to level up their gaming experience with superior sound, the GSP 300 utilizes the audio specialist’s famed acoustic expertise to enhance every gaming session with even greater clarity and realism. It’s now possible to experience the game to the full, with enhanced bass that intensifies the action and ultra-comfortable memory foam ear pads that create a best-in-class acoustic seal to minimize background noise and ensure total focus.

So what else is Sennheiser saying about this headset?  Well, it is said to feature memory foam ear pads with a best-in-class acoustic seal. The aviation-inspired split headband reduces pressure for enhanced comfort, while a clever ball-joint hinge makes it easy to perfectly angle the speakers to suit your face shape. And for the ultimate team performance the GSP 300 is equipped with a broadcast quality noise-cancelling microphone that helps minimize background noise for clearer team communications.

Sennheiser claims that even the smallest details of the GSP 300’s design reflect a pure focus on an optimized gaming experience. Its ergonomics reflect the need for fast access to controls in the heat of the action: An intuitive volume control on right ear cup makes on-the-fly adjustments effortless, while the microphone can be muted in an instant by simply raising the boom arm. The microphone boom has even been made shorter to help cut out breathing sounds to further enhance the clarity of in-game communications. And even when the game gets tough, Sennheiser has ensured that the GSP 300 is up to the challenge, thanks to its high quality materials and extensive testing to guarantee lasting durability.

The GSP 300 is available from the end of September 2016 at the recommended retail price of $99.95 US ($129.99 CAN).
