Battlefield: Modern Combat Delayed
Electronic Arts and Digital Illusions today confirmed that Battlefield: Modern Combat will feature an all-new single-player mode when released on Xbox and Playstation2. However sadly the decision has led to a lengthy delay to the title; originally scheduled for release in late 2004, Battlefield: Modern Combat is now scheduled for release in autumn 2005. EA assures us that the delay will increase the quality of the title, and will be adding a wide selection of new maps and additional features during the extended development period. It’s claimed that the single-player mode has been added due to response from customer feedback, although the fact that it was purely an online title must have caused some concern, seeing as EA have failed in the past with the likes of The Sims Online.Source: http://www.totalvideogames.com
