MS Plans Pre-TGS Event
Microsoft is continuing to court the Japanese market in anticipation of the Xbox 360 with which they are hoping to break the market and avoid another flop as the original Xbox was there. They have announced that they will be holding a special Xbox 360 event on September 15th, a day before the start of the Tokyo Games Show in which the Xbox 360 will also be making a big splash. It is widely expected that Microsoft will release details of the as yet unannounced pricing of the console in Japan at the event having already given European and American hopefuls their target to aim for. The exact release date of the console remains an unconfirmed mystery, though sources close to the run-up to the release of the console have told us that Friday, November 25th is tentatively penciled in by Microsoft to be the big day.Source: http://www.theinquirer.net/
