Perfect Dark Trilogy Greg Rucka to write three books based on the Microsoft franchise. November 14, 2005 - With the launch of Xbox 360 just around the corner, all eyes are on Microsoft's next big franchise, Perfect Dark. After spending several hundred million dollars on former Nintendo second-party developer Rare, Microsoft is banking of Perfect Dark Zero to rake in the cash on November 22. The company has its sights set on turning PD into the next Halo. And like Bungie's epic, novelizations of the franchise are on the horizon. Tor Books announced it has reached an agreement with MS to produce a novel trilogy based on the Perfect Dark universe. The first novel, Perfect Dark: Initial Vector by comic-book fan-fave Greg Rucka, hit the shelves in early October and is currently available nationwide.
