Peter Moore In Control
An internal e-mail sent to employees by Microsoft chief Xbox officer Robbie Bach and detailing restructuring plans reveals that Peter Moore will assume direct control of the companys interactive entertainment, according to Reuters. In the e-mail, Bach reportedly said that while he will "continue to play an important role in the games area, I will spend more time thinking about our broader challenges and opportunities across the division." Many are attributing the restructuring to part of Microsofts pre-planning for the arrival of PS3 and Revolution and the resulting console battle. Moores new role controlling the interactive entertainment business (he was previously corporate VP of worldwide marketing and publishing for the Xbox console) means hell essentially be in direct charge of Microsofts PC and Xbox/Xbox 360 gaming emporium.Source: http://www.computerandvideogames.com/
