Milestone Announces MXGP 2019, The Official Motocross Video Game

Zoom, Zoom my fellow racing game fans, and in this case the racing is two-wheeled and off road.  Milestone has announced MXGP 2019, a new release of their series of official FIM Motocross World Championship. The game will be available on August 27 for various platforms, incluidng the Xbox One.

For the first time in the series, MXGP 2019 will allow players to step into a professional rider’s boots in the current MXGP season, to live the thrill of the Championship with all riders, bikers and teams of the 2019 season. Players can compete in the MX2 Championship or head directly into the MXGP top class, choosing if to join an official team or sign with a Sponsor in a custom team, starting as Wildcard in the MX2 Championship. Finally, all the fans of the game can live the thrill of the Championship at the same time of their favorite champions!

The current season isn’t the only new feature in MXGP 2019; for the first time players will have a Track Editor to create their favorite Motocross track fully customized; the can choose starting, straight lines, bends with and without banking, jumps, finish lines and special modules. But that’s not all! They can also select 4 different environments where to set the track, all with different features: forest, beach, desert and jungle. All the tracks created by players, can be shared both with friends and the community to compete with them!

To train and challenge with friends, MXGP 2019 will include one of the most beloved features, the Playground; it will be set in Provence and can be explored in free roaming. Playground has been completely redesigned, expanded and enriched with new areas and new game modes, that will be revealed later in the campaign. One of the most important gameplay new features will be the Waypoint mode, that will allow player to design their own off-road path in the Playground, to be shared with friends and the community to challenge them.

As per every MXGP game, there will be endless riders’ customization possibilities, with many licensed accessories players can unlock. Bike can be customized both in aesthetic and mechanic, to race with your own style and to find always the right riding feeling.
