E3 2008: Activision Announces Singularity
Hey TimeSplitters and TimeShift fans, are you ready for another first-person shooter with time elements? Because here comes Singularity, the temporal shooter that’s too cool to have the word "time" in its name.At Activision’s press event, the audience was treated to an extremely brief glimpse of the new multiplatform shooter. The trailer consisted of a temporal wave that reformed a broken dock and repainted aged and rusted ships, and not much else. According to Activision, the gameplay will revolve around the ability to control -- you guessed it -- time.
Not much else is known about the new shooter except that it’s being developed by Raven Software, which is also working on the recently announced Wolfenstein title. Until we get more info, we’ll leave you to imagine the shenanigans you’ll be able to get up to with time itself at your disposal.
