Overall: This game is by far the best soccer game for any system out there. The sound effects, range of motion, graphics and the fact you can play about 100 different teams including 10 MLS, 60 National and 30 Club teams is crazy
Gameplay: Game play is great, good range of motion. the replays get a bit annoying but overall the tempo and control is very well done.
Graphics: Visual effects do it for me. The players look quite real and the stadiums look 100% real. I felt like I was playing at CMGI Field (now Gillette Stadium) home of the World Champion New England Patriots!
Sound: The sound effects are on par. One thing I didnt agree with was when I was playing in my home stadium and I fouled the other team, my home fans booed. Normally in real life they'd cheer when I tackle the other team, don't you agree? Other than that things were perfect!
Suggestions: Add more European Club teams and not as many South American ones. If I tackle someone in my home stadium they should cheer not boo. Also for international play, team usa should be real team usa players, they are in MLS mode so why not in Int'l mode? Some players on other national team squads should be real names. Also should be easier to create a player- it's very hard to figure it out and please can we turn off the replays in 2003 ESPN Extra Time????

Overall: I am a big fan of Major League Soccer and this game pretty much satisfied my requirements for a MLS game. The graphics are a little bland, but the play is excellent and the menus are perfect ESPN lookalikes. It is the most fun soccer game to play against friends and has a decent franchise mode.
Gameplay: The gameplay is really the best part of the game. It just feels natural when you are controlling the players. The controls were easy to pick up and work as you would expect them to. The amount of scoring is kept low as it should in a sim, but it is still very fun. There are some problems with the AI not getting open where you wold expect them to and not picking up opposing players correctly, but it is just as good as other video soccer games in this department.
Graphics: The graphics are pretty good from far away. With the camera zoomed all the way out it will actually look like a game is on TV. Close ups of the players though reveal PS1 quality player models - very dissapointing. If there was one major flaw with this game it is the awful player graphics. There is little customization of player faces and build so the players barely look like their MLS counterparts. The stadiums are pretty well done in size and depth but look like they are made of plastic. Lighting is excellent though. Also excellent are the ESPN style menu graphics that are right on.
Sound: Sound effects are pretty well done - nothing stands out. The announcers fall behind the play sometimes and seem to repeat the same phrases a little too frequently, but the voices and comments are well done. The ability to have a Spanish speaking announcer is great. The crowd reaction is good but I caught them a few times seemingly cheering for the wrong team.
Suggestions: Please update the player models - on the XBOX I expect MUCH MUCH better players. Maybe add some special teams that can be unlocked.

Overall: This game is one hell of a soccer simulation. Everything is in there. Better than any other EA release in the past ten years. This game uses the Winning Eleven engine, the people that have played winning eleven and liked it, will really enjoy this one. The only problem with the game is that the only licensed teams are 10 MLS teams, the 60+ other teams are not licensed. But don't worry it's still very good.
Gameplay: The gameplay is the best about this game. It's a complete winning eleven copy, you won't find anything different about Winning Eleven and MLS 2002. The feel for the game is so much better than the Fifa series. I used to be a hardcore fifa fan since the 94' game. When I played Winning Eleven for PS my likings changed completely. So... if you have played Winning Eleven and enjoyed it BUY THIS NOW!. If you're a Fifa fan you might find it extremely different, and maybe just maybe... you won't like it. But if you're a soccer fan I find it impossible for you not to like it.
Graphics: The graphics are OK. Their probably below EAsports Fifa series. But believe this is not the downside of the game. The polygons are polished and ready to go for the Xbox capability. Believe me though... there wont be much difference between this game and the Gamecube version. Anyways the graphics are not the thing you should notice. But don't get me wrong, the game has pretty good visuals. The menus are beatifully presented by ESPN. You'll notice the similar ESPN feel.
Sound: Great sound, the commentaries blow away Fifa's John Motson. There's also a choice for a Spanish commentary. The music is acceptable but repetitive. But it's still up to standard. Belive me... do not wait for FIFA.
Suggestions: Keep up the good work!!. I hope Konami Japan come up with a Xbox version of Winning Eleven.
