Overall: Finally, you EA people made an option for a "lefty" golfer, so I can create myself. This game is great, no need to even rent it, just get it. If you liked 2003, you'll love 2004. Nice new feature that detects other EA games you've played so you don't have to start out with nothing. You can earn sponsorships and buy lots of stuff with the money you earn, from equipment to clothing to jewelry. Lots of courses to play too. PGA Tour mode is improved because now you can save after each round/day of a tour. The gameplay itself is very similar to 2003, so not much new to learn on that. World Tour mode is a nice touch, definitely check it out. Create a golfer has also come a long way, you get to choose negative and positive animations, swing types, etc. What else can I say, I LOVE IT and I'm ADDICTED!!
Gameplay: Gameplay hasn't changed much, and there was really no need to. I didn't have a problem with that part. You can now gold left-handed if you want to, which I like since I am a lefty shot. They added a chip shot too, which is nice. More courses make it more challenging. Bethpage Black course is my favorite so I'm glad it's in there. Realtime events is nice, if you follow golf you can play along at the same time as the pros. There are enough game types to keep you playing for hours.
Graphics: One of the reasons I went with X-BOX over PS2 a few years back was because I thought X-Box graphics rendering would be way better. But I've given that up, they don't try to make it better. They just take what PS2 has and port it over to X-Box. So the visual is great, but it could be and should be better. Weather has been added ,so it could be raining while you play a round. Other than that, the visuals are pretty much the same as in 2003. Water makes sounds, but you don't see it move. During the gameplay though it's good. There are crowds watching, but they are not moving. I'll give them props for the actual golfers visuals. Like when it's windy, your pants will ripple in the wind. The animation for golfers are hilarious. GameFace is cool, you can really make some funny looking golfers.
Sound: NICE! Birds chirping, raindrops hitting the fairway, crowds erupting, waves crashing into cliffs, all of it is there. You can almost hear when you take a bad swing.
Suggestions: Thanks for adding lefty-golfers. Visuals could be better for X-Box versions, maybe you could make the crowds move around. On the ocean holes with the waves crashing, make the water move, it looks stupid when you hear waves but the water is still?

Overall: EXCELLENT - EXCELLENT - EXCELLENT! This game is absolutely fabulous! You have got to manage yourself and the course or else you will suffer for it just like it is for real. The character creation is unbelievable and has people laughing for hours. The depth of this game is excellent and does not get boring. Non golfers like this game a lot which I found really amusing. Check it out.
Gameplay: Pretty easy to pick up, do yourself a favor and spend a few minutes with the practice sessions with the short game (chips, pitch shots, putts) as this is where you lose shots (again just like for real). It is clearly put together by people who are involved in the game and I am sure the PGA Tour and TW had plenty of input for realism.
Graphics: Really great. More animated in the cartoon manner than Links is but the course renderings are terrific. Camera control and fly by views are really great and let you understand each hole before you play it as opposed to the "hit and hope" approach (again just like for real).
Sound: Really one of the best features of this game. Custome soundtracks, good included music, and the capability to mix them as you like really makes it fun. Also, the commentary from Gary McCord and David Feherty are terrific and very sarcastic sometimes which makes it funny just as those 2 jokers are on TV. They make golf more fun to watch - TAKE THAT Johnny Miller!
Suggestions: Make 2 or more player mode available in PGA Tour Season mode so you can work on making good money with your character while playing with your family and friends. I don't use XBLive but hear it's great, so pay attention to your customers who want it if you have not addressed it already. Otherwise, more courses and that's it. Great job!

Overall: This game is great from the graphics to the gameplay and sound. Links 2004 has better sound effects but the music in tiger woods is way better. The gameplay and control is great and there are lots of courses to keep you busy along with a career mode and other challenges like long ball and target hitting. This game will have you playing for hours every day. Watch out for links though. i played it and its good, but falls short in some places like music but shines in the graphics category. Overall Tiger Woods is a little bit better but its all about preference.
Gameplay: Perfect. Controls never fail you at all and the and the whole golf game looks true to life and plays like it.
Graphics: Fantastic!!! One of the best looking games around but beware of Links 2004. They know what there doing and there graphics look freat but Tiger woods has the better faces.
Sound: EA-TRAX sums it up. Once again it shine in this catagory. Also putting in your own tracks rules. Awesome in game sounds too.
Suggestions: PERCECT! PERFECT! just need online and this would be AWEEEEEEEEEEEESOME!

Overall: holy crap...this is the game of all games. yeah and its a golf game. this has got to be the deepest most incredible golf game yet. 2003 was great, but this....is leaps and bounds over '03. i waited in laredo texas for over 3 hours for the fedex chic to show and it was woth every minute.
Gameplay: gameplay is to die for. the swing mechanics are just as stellar as 03. sometimes the environment throws enough at you to really make accurate shot a challeng i.e. the wind and rain. the extras are what make this a blast. you get to play barbie with your character. from the get go the "game face" is where you actualy make some who looks just like you!! nose, cheeks, chin, eyebrows...name it you can change it.
wanna be a big fat pig?? no problem.
mustache, goatee, mohawks, comb-overs, old, young, its all here!!! after that as you play and make money you get to buy cloths that will enhance your stats. shoes, socks, earings, shades, hats, jeans, nickers...its in the game!! this game is just totaly immersive. new courses and new golfers make much bigger than '03. there is alot more "side games " to keep one busy after the world tour is done. perhaps my favorite addition is the addition of custom soudtrack. golfing to metallica, naughty by nature, 311...the game gods answerd my prayers. just trust me and at least rent it....

Graphics: awsome. the characters all look fantastic. the courses look like the real thing. the whole game has a real polished look.
Sound: sound are most excelent. ball striking and such all sound good. david and gary are funny. david is a smart a$$ that has some good one liners. i mean it's all good here.
Suggestions: the only thing that grabs my goat is when the camera jumps to that cimatic view of the ball once in a while. kinda hard to spin it well when the camera is looking up at the ball from the side of the green/fairway. other than that can it get any better??? you dudes did one helluva job :)
