I have the same question. It seems the only ones with threads for custom prints are spacy and myself.
There's one new thread with a custom Dragon's Age plate. But yeah, it's been slow. I need to find out a better way to get the message out there.
Because I don't want you copying my bubbles print and ripping it off!
.... lol ;)
I just sent my first two designs to Spacey for printing by Faceplate Addict. The designs are Batman and Joker faceplates for Batman: Arkham Asylum. As soon as I get them I'll take pics and get them posted. I'll work on getting pics of my collection posted as well, promise!
Here's the Joker custom made by me through Faceplate Addict. The Batman design is in a separate post a few down the page as I couldn't figure out how to get two images in the same post from my desktop. Thanks again for taking the pics Spacey!
Just been messing with some designs, i havent printed anything yet.
I like the background but im not happy with the logo. Just edited a Cuboid logo to make this

I used assets from the official GWRE site to make this. Didnt turn out that good as its pretty hard to artificially construct a scene.
If anyone is interested at trying their hand i can put up a PSD with everything as its own layer so you can edit as you see fit (enemies, background, etc all own layers, no logo though)

EDIT: Its hard to find hi-res and good art from official websites. First attempt at a 1943 plate. If only i was good with photoshop

some drafts i made using some pre-made renders and hellonearths template

Where is the Template at, and I was talking about pics of the final plates not really to take ideas from but more to see what the print quality ect is.

Certainly could use some touch up but it works
I like that 1943 plate. I might have to try and make something.
Batman Arkham Asylum custom made by me. Sorry I couldn't seem to figure out how to put both images in the same post from my desktop. Comments are appreciated!

Both look great but the Joker one is outstanding. Keep em coming!
Thanks! Coming from one who has quite literally mastered the technique on making great customs I appreciate it!
Now that I've made and seen the end result I think the background on Batman's plate should have been lightened a bit more so Batman stands out better.
I dig your Rabbids faceplate, any chance of sending me some of your images so I can make a custom or two from your stack?
WOW..... that first Arkham one with the Joker looks amazing! GREAT WORK!!!
Just made this one for myself ;D
lol. I just replied to your email suggesting something like this.
Here is one that I made using that faceplate site you have:

I cant afford to buy it but it was to see what I could do on that thing. What would be good is if we could see it WITHOUT that green circle all the time, kinda like one with and one without.
Anyway hope you like it and I did ask for it to be placed on the gallery but not sure if I am meant to buy it before its shown there.
I have asked them to remove the "3D" styled template and replace it with a flat image template that wouldn't have the green ring. It's easier to line up the image on the other template.
Also, they won't upload it to the gallery, or shouldn't, until they run it by me. In this case, unless YOU personally have the rights to offer mass produced Red Dead Redemption plates for sale to the world, they can't make your image available to everyone because of copyright laws. We would have to license the use of the name and the images, include fine print on the plate, etc. If you create a design or take a photo then we can add those to the gallery (and even some of those can violate copyrights if a copyrighted logo or image is in your picture).
Ah ok I understand its just that seeing what other people had done I wasnt actually aware of the stance using a copyrighted image.
So if I wanted it made just for me what would happen - would it be allowed or not?
I have to offer a disclaimer that this is not legal advice.
If it's for personal use, and going on your Xbox or into your collection. Nobody's going to care. The problem comes when 1) you sell them in quantity like you're mass producing them, or 2) you're trying to duplicate an existing plate as exactly as possible. For instance, MadCatz had the rights to Modern Warfare 2 plates. I've made a MW2 plate, but I haven't tried to duplicate their exact plate and pass it off as one of them.
Ok thats fair enough :)
I was going to ask another question but I will make a new thread regarding that as this one appears to have gone off topic more than it should have.
