Since the moment Capcom unveiled Lost Planet to the gaming world anticipation has been great, but does Lost Planet live up to the hype. Well I am glad to report that I think it has the strength to carry out our high expectations. It even goes beyond that, in some ways it defines how much action can actually be jam packed into a videogame."

Demon Reborn
Date reviewed: February 19, 2007.

Overall: A very interesting game...The thermal energy bar is quite the innovation. Good storyline, good voice acting...AND AWESOME MASSIVE MECHS (VSs)!!! It's worth it. The game is flawed, though; more on that in gameplay.
Gameplay: It's sort of annoying to try and look around, and there are many purposeful additions to the game that I would've been happy without. Every hit you take causes you to stumble around or fall down...And it takes a loooooong time. Plus, enemies are constantly following up on attacks, leaving you...dead. Wayne also seems to be lacking agility for such a fast paced game.
Graphics: The graphics are amazing! you can see every hair on Wayne's fur coat, and the facial expressions are pretty good. Some really good explosion animations too, though they really get in the way of gameplay; enemies seem to be unnafected by thick smoke.
Sound: some really nice voice acting rounds up the game. The gun shots are okay, but explosions have very nice sound quality.
Suggestions: I think others agree when we ask to take out all the useless stumbling...It's really annoying! A local multiplayer mode would have been awesome too.

Blind Whiplash
Date reviewed: January 29, 2007.

Overall: One of the more interesting shooters that ive played. Killiing giant monsters in VS's.......you cant get much better than that.
Gameplay: It is a bit tricky to look around at first but once you get use to the conrtol scheme it will be an addictive game for campaign and online multplayer.
Graphics: Graphics are top notch but can be glitchy at times during the loading process. Also the character models will sometimes glitch if they move too quikly.( as in falling off a high building)
Sound: The sound in the game is perfect!!! if there is a rocket shot from anywhere on the map youll be able to hear it and then you hear the impact the rocket makes on the ground...or a person.
Suggestions: try to set certain ranked game standards. Most people are just playing fugitive and it is too easy to get exp in that game type. other than that it is a great game.
