Whiplash features a shackled animal duo on a mission to escape and sabotage an evil animal product-testing corporation. Providing a groundbreaking approach to the character-based action genre, Whiplash combines a unique "chain" gameplay mechanic with in-depth enemy and environment interaction, rich combat and slapstick humor. The result is an engaging game where player choice triggers an unscripted chain of chaotic, humorous events.

Overall: Ever wonder how companies test there products such as mascara and hairspray to make sure ther're safe for humans? Well, whiplash answers that question (sorta). Having a very unique and humorous storyline, whiplash will make you laugh and maybe cry :). Having a weasel attached to an INVINCIBLE yes invincible bunny creates trouble. Using him as a weapon, a very unique weapon, spanx and redmond are going to escape the animal testing facility and shut it down for good!
Gameplay: Well, the game actually is pretty long, if you do it the hard way. The game is very interesting. The company is worth about 6 million dollars. As you destroy computers and test equipment the price goes down. Your trying to bankrupt them so this is very cool. But anyways, the control scheme is satisfactory and easy to learn. The key wepon in the game is of coasre your bunny weapon known as redmond. Dip him in sludge, fire even swing with him magnetizes to blue shining balls in the air! Although, replay value is low but hey, you might even love it to beat it more then once. Like me ;)
Graphics: For a 40 dollar game it has really good graphics. Humans actually look like humans with facial features and other things. The animals also look great. But the awsome thing has to be the glass that flies and the look of a machine just totally busting till its black (weird).
Sound: The sound is awsome......for the first 5 hours. After beating and beating redmond against countless foes he starts quacking away about how it hurts and stuff. Often phrases are repeated and it can be anooting. This is the only sound flaw in my opinion. The voices are semi dramatic and funny. The animals yelping is great, the swap of a hamster getting shot out of a hamster cannon into a wall yes a wall. And exploding hamsters (you heard me). WEIRD! yet cool. I also really like the sounds of beating up machinery, boxes, chairs, just about anything you see.
Suggestions: I dont have too much to say, I love the game nice job.

Overall: Ok let's get right down to this, Whiplash is not going to win any awards for graphics or sound. With that being said we can concentrate on what went right in the game, namely the gameplay.

Whiplash emerses you in a world of comedy and wise cracks, but never takes itself seriously. One of the better things I found about this game is that none of the missions were really hard, it was just a light hearted fun game made for a few giggles and some good times.

At one point, there was a time when lots of game developers took this approach towards making games, but sadly that seems to have been lost lately. Now game companies are bringing in Oscar nominated lighting directors (NFS: Underground) and writing super complex story lines that are better than most Sci-Fi movies (Halo). And none of this is a bad thing, I am the first person to tell you that I love graphics, presentation and ambience in a game.

But, that is not to say there is no room for a pure fun game like this anymore. Whiplash delivers in the fun department, and I can honestly say I laughed out loud a few times while playing the game (Press the button get a cookie! Press the button get a cookie! Press the button get a cookie!)

Overall, if your looking for a feel good game and are a fan of platformers in general, then you have found your salvation.
Gameplay: This is where the game truely comes alive, it has been a long time since I have played a BETTER PLAYING platformer than this one. The action moves along good and it is just fun to play. Good job!
Graphics: Decent lighting and shading, horrible textures and the aliasing is bad. But then again it was made to be a comic universe, so we can cut it a lot of slack and give it good marks for pure zaniness.
Sound: Hilarious comments by the rabbit through-out the game, but the things said by both human and animals get old and repitive quite fast. Nice 5.1 score with decent phasing and imaging.
Suggestions: Pretty good game but i guess i just dont like the idea.
