Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee

Overall: The game is more of a strategy game. Personally, I think theres a little too much strategy and not enough of a fun factor. You constanly switch between the 2 guys, once who walks on the ground and one that likes to swin in the water. I have to admit that it is kind of a difficult game, where you are weaker than your enemies. Still, I think that a game should be hard, but not hard enough that you lose the fun factor in trying to beat it.

Gameplay: The controls are pretty simple. There are basic buttons to run, jump, switch characters, etc. The good thing is also that they guide you with the controls throughout the game, incase you forget some buttons.
Still, it just got boring for me, and didn't keep me coming back to play it again and again.

Graphics: The graphics look pretty sharp. The environment that the games takes place in is a very unique one, where there are funky banners, weird creatures, and smelly farts! I think it was very original and unique to create the things in the game the way they did. No one else would of though of that.

Audio: The sounds that both of the characters make are really funny. One of the guys burps all the time and the other farts all the time. Plus, they say funny phrases that leave you saying "What!?" The sound effects are pretty sharp too, and really capture the environment of the game.

Suggestions: Even though it was original, it maybe was a little too much out of the ordinary. It wasn't a fun game to play, just used way too much thinking.

Overall Score: 6.0 / 10 Shrek

Overall: The game is a farily simple one, there isnt much interaction with the characters and the levels are pretty quick. The levels are pretty stupid too, the missions you have to do seem to be more "kiddie" based rather than for teenagers. Not very amusing and doesn't keep you coming back to play it again and again.

Gameplay: The controls are fairly easy, not much to learn. You have to know how to run, jump, get things, and attack. Thats about it, there arent any combos or gadgets you can use towards your advatage. Like I said, targeting the child population, rather than the teenage one.

Graphics: This is probably the best attribute of the game. The characters look very sharp, colored in detail and curved at the right angles. The environments are also very well made, and the game looks almost exactly like the movie.

Audio: The sound gets really anoying after a while, and you just dont want them to talk anymore. They say way too many phrases that really get to you, and you just want them to shut up. There arent many sound effects when you do actions, so there really isnt much to talk about. Sound is below average.

Suggestions: Should have made the game much longer, with more things to do. Its very one sided towards kids, and not towards the teenage gaming industry.

Overall Score: 6.0 / 10 Blood Wake

Overall: Overall, I think the game is a well rounded sea-shooter with decent graphics and OK gameplay. It could use a higher "fun-factor" into it, because it does get boring after a while. The enemies in the game seem to be too goal oriented and not more easy going. If you like the water, and if you like guns, this looks like the game for you.

Gameplay: The boat handles fairly in the rough waters, and is slick when getting away from the enemy boats. When you are going really fast, however, the boat feels like it going to break down and die, and blow up on you. Maybe they should of spent more time on this, because its definetly a flaw in the game.

Graphics: The Graphics are pretty sharp, and capture all the action. The explosions look really cool when you kill your enemies, or when they kill you. The water looks pretty sharp, and looks really cool when you tread through it at high speed.

Audio: There really isnt any music in the game, but The sounds that the game makes when you shoot your weapons or blow up your enemies, sounds pretty cool. It makes the game seem more realistic. While the water splashes into your boat, it also makes some anoying sounds.

Suggestions: More of a "fun-factor." I got bored of the game really quick. Maybe more gameplay modes.

Overall Score: 8.0 / 10
