Drivers earn special "Kudos" points by driving with style. Players are rewarded for doing power slides, spinning 360s, cornering on two wheels, and for the first time, drafting while staying on the race line and keeping car damage to a minimum. A new Kudos Ranking system challenges gamers to earn Kudos and improve their level-ranking, so they can unlock new cities, tracks, and ultimately more new cars. Kudos is a measure of recognition that players receive for the skill, flair and daring they drive with, as well as for the accomplishments achieved throughout the game. The more Kudos players earn, the more vehicles, skins, tracks, etc., they unlock. An Entirely New Xbox Live Experience. "Project Gotham Racing 2" will support Xbox Live, allowing gamers to join friends and others around the world for the ultimate street race. Players also can download "ghosts," or recorded cars, to watch, learn from and compete against the most skilled drivers in the world. Leaderboards will update in solo play modes when players are connected to Xbox Live so they can keep track of who’s number one. Multiplayer System Link also allows players to race head-to-head in the same room. Travel the globe.
