Overall: Man was this game was terrible. I can't believe I wasted my time and money on this game. Big waste here.
Gameplay: This game was so bad. There is no point in racing until the last twenty seconds of the track. The AI is terrible. Who came up with this?
Graphics: Visuals are not good at all. You really should avoid this game at all costs. You will be gravely disappointed.
Sound: The sound didn't consist of much so I can't give it a good score here, but you know what? I was better than anything else in this game.
Suggestions: Give up.

Gameplay: this game gets a four because i cant stand a racing game were u dont get to use things like weapons the olny other racing game i like is the pgr's
Graphics: the graphics arent that bad i dont beleaive though that they even deserve a 3 but when i play in the arcade it looks alot better then when i play on the xbox
Sound: sound........ i gave this a higher rating than the others because I dont realy know what they mean by sound

Overall: This game was fun and I could endure little single player and multiplayer for a while, but its not long-lasting. I liked the game, but it really didn't impress graphics wise. I think this game belongs in the arcade for 25cents a race, however, Hydro Thunder for Arcade that was later converted to DC would have been awesome on Xbox. Hydro Thunder was a big thing for me positively and Arctic thunder was a dissapointment especially when I expected something as good as Hydro thunder... LoL =)
Gameplay: It wasn't completely a waste of time and money to play, but it wasn't the best of games. After going through a map only a few times, the maps got old and the players were only viewably different, but all had the same basic tricks.
Graphics: The visuals were a major dissappointment and its sad that it was an Xbox game. It inmy opinion made the xbox look bad. Arctic thunder looked like it belonged on PS1 as an extra minigame. Sorry if you liked it, but I only like good games. =P
Sound: The sounds were nothing overly impressive or anything to get talking about. All they did was give the people something to make them turn the sound all the way down and hit their own tunes on the stereo. This game would have been better with the custom soundtrack feature.
Suggestions: Use the xbox to irs full game capabilities!

Overall: This game is a pick up and play arcady game. Its fun when you first play it, but after a while, it seems a little empty
Gameplay: There are nice variety of "power-ups" and you can attack each other while obstacles are in your way. you do all this while racing to the finish line
Graphics: well i'm not really a good candidate for judging graphics because to me all games almost look the same in the graphics department, its just that some games have better graphics not worse. so i'm giving it a 4.0
Sound: sounds are pretty good. the sounds of weaps and attacks. the scenary noises also makes this game great. but like i said it seems like its lacking something...
Suggestions: nothing except add better sound effects and add more weapons to use. other than that, well done game

Overall: Right off the bat, Arctic Thunder is a fun, easy to pick up and play, pure arcade videogame. It's accessible to gamers of all skill levels and ages. If you're over the age of nine and have played any other videogame at any point in your life, however, you will be bored with Arctic Thunder within hours. If you pick it up on Friday after school or work, you can squeeze all of the fun out of it before you have to go meet your girlfriend, wife or drinking buddies and you'll even be on time.
Everything falls apart with Arctic Thunder when you realize that the sense of speed, variety of weapons and the personality of the course offer very little depth. What you see is what you get and there's nothing coming except more of the same. There's nothing about Arctic Thunder that simulates real snowmobile racing, which is why it could 've just as easily been done with boats and titled "Hydro Thunder II."

Gameplay: So easy even a child could dominate it during his or her lunch break. Easy to pick up and play but hard to continue playing once you realize there's no real challenge.
Graphics: Good enough to evoke a certain feeling, but with such simple gameplay and the Xbox behind it, Arctic Thunder should've tried to do more graphically.
Sound: You'll get more noise and stimulation out of your controller rumbling than you will from anything in the game.
Suggestions: cant really think of anything.

Overall: like the x-box addict staff review says "it doesn't have a deep story" , "things on the screen get blurry" , and "visuals not up to xbox standards". i'll add to that by saying there's no innovation in this game, the levels are too easy (just get the speed power-ups and you win), and the sound and audio are nothing great.
Gameplay: racing games should really tick to cars. these off-shoots of other vehicles are never done well. the gameplay is simple, hold down the gas and pick up the speed power-ups.
Graphics: possibly the best part of this game, but still nothing great. anything extra that's added in is lost due to the speed of the game.
Sound: if you like the old-skool arcade style, then the sound is good. there's little voice and explosion sound.

Gameplay: Gameplay is great lot of stuff to unlock.
Graphics: Yuck the only bad thing about this game. Lot more improvement needed if you want to make Artic Thunder 2.
Sound: The sound is okay not the best needs more improvement.

Overall: I am entering BlockBuster on a rainy friday after noon. My brain show me the way to the x-box section. I was watching the video games and my brain told me to took this one, its was Artic Thunder. Twelve minutes later i was on darkness with a piteful game. Now that you saw my introduction, i will tell you what wrong and what good in that game. First of all, graphic are poor, the gameplay could be deeper and the multiplayer is the way to lose times in group and for the good part, i will think more because it seems to be poor in every part. In conclusion, this game making me sick and trust me when i said sick it's is sick ! The worse game on x-box that i played !
Gameplay: The gameplay seems to be copied on Mario Kart but we doesn't feel it so well. Yes, we are shooting object at player to make them crashing on a wall or go slower but it's don't give the fun i had with my Mario Kart. But the deal it's we got weapon that doesn't work like the grapple or weapon that was useless. Also there no real story here, you are a renegade who doing race with a snowmobile that all and for me it's not a story. Of course they put a multiplayer that look like a co-op, yes its great but when it's time to buy rider, races or arena, the money is not combined so it a lose of times especially if your friends is always taking you as his main target. I forget that we have a arena battle, but you just have to be behind you enemy and that all is dead, sometimes its make me frustated a lot. Finally i find something that was great because in that game we got plenty of things to unlock .
Graphics: You know how great was the visual in Gauntlet : Dark Legacy, totally the worse graphic on x-box and Artic Thunder take the same engine, i guess. In fact, poor is not a word for a game like that. In terms of framerate, Arctic Thunder stays nice and steady at 60 but it should be considering how little this game is drawing and how strong the Xbox is.
Sound: Big explosions and random sounds of destruction is what you're getting here. A few exclamations by the racers here and there is all there is for voice. You'll get more noise and stimulation out of your controller rumbling than you will from anything in the game.
Suggestions: Never do that again, i should take drug to forget what you done because it's hard to forget the hell of x-box game !

Overall: This game was not as bad as I had heard. It's a fast paced racer that has more of a Mario Kart element. you'll find plenty of power-ups and even the ability to punch nearby sleders. If your not looking for ultra realism in your gaming this one could be worth a look. I would recommend that anyone considering this game rent it first.
Gameplay: For fans of Mario Kart style racing this game could have promise. It's fun and fast, maybe too fast. Characters and sleds can be tweaked by earning points during gameplay.
Graphics: Visually this game has a real arcade look it it. Unfortunately an arcade of the 1990's. I would have had no complaints about the graphics of the game 5 years ago but, times have changed and this game does not come close to looking like it could on the Xbox.
Sound: Nothing special to mention about the sound, again it has a arcade type sound going on. I really wish this game would have used the soundtrack features of the Xbox.
Suggestions: Clean up the graphics. Slow things up a little bit, so gamers can have more time to aim weapons, perform stunts, and get in a few fist fights. Please use the soundtrack feature of the Xbox.

Overall: Game Looks Great out of the box! Team up with (4) Players in split screen mode. This is a Combat Snowmobile Race to the finish.
Gameplay: This game is fun right out of the cover straight into you XBox. This is a very fast paced shoot at your opponents race to the finish. Get your family to play and watch as there faces light up! Not all games need to require reading a amnual to learn how to control your character and special moves. This is one of those games that you will hank yourself for buying just to get your family back into your living room!
Graphics: Very Fast paced Racing shootum up game... There is no lagging of the game mainly due to the XBox's internal Technological Totally Awesome overkill that makes this the best GAming Platform own to mankind!
Sound: Sound is good however there is a bit of a pause etween some tracks. This actually allows you to regain some focus on the snow and rethink your strategy on your attack! You will like the Music as it is modern though my focus is on winning and outgunning my opponents.
Suggestions: Can we Make a Battle Arena? How about A oval Track with a MotoCross Theme? I think this would Appeal to Many! I like the SnowMAn Character if you become Worthy!

Gameplay: doen't really appeal to me its a road rash on a snowmobile with out the fun sorry guys this game could be so much better
Graphics: notso bad graphics but the game is horrible who ever came up with the idea should be fired i only wish i hadn't got the game nd supported them for a new game
Sound: whats this i can't use my own cds WHY that doesn't make much sence ??? now does it sound fit for an xbox racing game ??? didn't think so

Overall: Artic Thunder is a snowmobile racing game where you pummel your opponents so you can pass them and win. The game begins with 6 available racers and you unlock more by trading in points gained by doing tricks, obtaining power-ups, destroying the other racers, and winning races. The main appeal is that it's just a hell of a lot of fun.
Gameplay: The handling is tough, but once you get used to it the game takes on a whole new level. It's hard starting out and gaining upgrades is very important to the game. The gameplay is very similar to that of the Psygnosis games Rollcage and Death Track Racing, which feature racers doing laps and trying to win while blowing up the enemy (I am not a violent person). The best part is the violence.

With the technology that the Xbox brings to the table, games run faster than ever before, and Artic Thunder is no exception. The downside to the game is that there are times when you won't be able to figure out what's going on. Still, replay value is super high on this game, seeing as how you need to get points individually for each controller.

Be ready to feel the controller vibrations throughout the entire game because there's non-stop action once the light turns green.
Graphics: The graphics, while good, are nothing special. If you've played the arcade version, the graphics have not signifigantly changed better or worse.
Sound: The only problem I've had with this game is the sound cuts out completely after some races. Mostly, the music and sound effects aren't noticable. The best part about the sound is that when you choose your racer, he or she says something. Yeah, it's not amazing, but hey, it's a start.
Suggestions: Allow people to win medals in multi-player and allow for teams in the next version. A system link option would also be nice, seeing as how 8 people can play at once.

Overall: I don't know why but after a long day at work I love playing Midways games. Everyone complains because they are so unrealistic, but thats personally why I like them. I live just outside of dc and know that we will never have that much snow in DC but its still fun as heck to rip through the monuments blowin up stuff. I LOVE THIS GAME it rocks. I love midway racing games. I wish they'd bring the Cruisin series to xbox (flame on i know they're coming) I like points mode the best although jumpin on with a buddy and whippin them in snow mobile races is a good time too. The graphics are great the power ups are intense and the snow drives well. This is an awesome game.
Gameplay: If you like over the top not so realistic games (that is one reason they are considered games) then you will love the way this game plays.
Graphics: The visual appeal is great too. Again it's unrealistic but thats why I like it. Sometimes though when you are going through a level and it splits you into another screen the frame rate seems to get stuck or something. Transitions could be a little smoother
Sound: The sound is good, its a little slow on the response side but that seems to be a trend with almost all of my xbox games.

Overall: This game is the definition of an arcade game, so if you don't like arcade games, stop reading NOW. I really like this game, it is so easy to pick-up and play. The best thing about this game is the huge amount of stuff to unlock. There are 19 very cool characters, and 12 tracks, plus a whole bunch of battle arenas.
Gameplay: The multiplayer aspect is fun, whether you're racing or battling in one of the arenas. but if you're going to play multiplayer, make sure you have a big television, because it gets REALLY busy. The one complaint I have is that there are two many invisible boundaries. you aren't allowed to even consider leaving the track.
Graphics: The graphics are excellent, and the crispness of the graphics helps when the screen gets really busy with powerups and opponents. For anyone who complains about the game being to busy, I'm sorry that you're brain isn't large enough to handle more than one object on the screen at once. Maybe you should try golf instead of video games...
Sound: The sound is average. It could be better, but i've got a mono tv, so i'm not going to complain right now...
Suggestions: Excellent work. Try making a sequel with less boundaries, so that the tracks are more open and less linear.

Overall: This is a super cool arcade style game that rocks on graphics...if you haven't played this game too much already in the arcade...get it for the xbox. If you have..spend your money on something else, cause really only improved on graphics and head to head playability.
Gameplay: This is another game for the kids and adults. Be careful..the kids will be kicking your butt if you don't stay frosty...this is definitely one game that doesn't really require to much thinking...just speed and ammo...
Graphics: The visuals for the game are really great considering it is an arcade game. Detail is there and special effects of missles and boosts adds a cool dimension to racing.
Sound: Great sound...lacks sound effects for own player that would have added another cool dimension to the game...the sounds of doing the missles and turbo boosts are awesome and each players on personal sayings are definitely cool.
Suggestions: More sound effects of own player getting injured...more tracks....cool soundtracks already bundled with the game would be awesome...let me run over the other players and hear them wince in pain... :)

Overall: I thought this would be a fun party game since part of the reason I got the XBox was b/c of the many selections of 4+ player games available and I liked Mario Kart and Fuzion Frenzy. The game plays a lot like Mario Kart however there are no cartoon art and laps. I guess it's the [X] adult version of that game.
Gameplay: The game ends as soon as it begins. The reviews weren't kidding about its breakneck speed. There are many exaggerated high jumps however it doesn't seem like you can fall out of the race track. I've tried to drive through and take short cuts but it seems there are walls around the track that you can't break through. You get to hurt you enemies and get power ups like Mario Kart, however, if you end up destroying someone's snowmobile, the computer will bring them back to life somewhere ahead of you, which defeats the purpose... =P The game seems really easy to finish, but I haven't tried the career mode or whatever to see if I can truely get first place. However, it doesn't seem complicated, especially if you can't fall off of the track.
Graphics: Visually, the game produces an acid trip effect... Since you are blowing through the game at killer speeds and picking up power ups, you don't really see where you're going. It seriously is like going at warp speeds which is... kinda cool if you want to finish the game in about 5 seconds. However, I have seen parts of the map that were broken up during the race. Also, the weapons we get are kinda weird and I'm not sure if they even hit their target.
Sound: Besides for some moans and growns and some snowmobile voices, I didn't hear much of anything else that excited me. It's decent.
Suggestions: More creativity and longer tracks maybe? It's such an easy to play game...
