Overall: I thought this was a really relaly good game. It's one of the few I played religiously online and offline. I would say buy this game 100% if it was a yera ago. But, since RS4 is out I would say pass because the game has been dead forever. But for its time it was great.
Gameplay: The campaign is pretty solid I think. For the most part it's just straight up shooting but at times you have to be sneeky and it's cool how you can use the computer partners you have to be tactical and talk to them. Very innovative and a nice addition.
Graphics: It looks pretty good I think. Each gun with its own look and the characters in the game look pretty smooth. The levels are designed fairly well and don't let you get spawned camped or anything because there is so many different places to come from.
Sound: The sound was done very well in this game. Each gun, grenade, etc. has a distinct sound. They even added footstep sounds so you could hera people sneeking up on you if you were a camper. The voices the enemies have all sound the same and pretty repetetive but that's a minor downside to the game in my opinion.

Overall: I love Tom Clancy games, this is a tactical shooter. Very realistic and fun to play. It is also a challenging game.
Gameplay: This game is awesome, the controls are great. It is so easy to control your team which is a big help when this game is hard. It is also an XBL game however I have not played it online yet.
Graphics: It looks great, the soldiers, weapons, and environments look awesome. The detail put into this game is outrageous.
Sound: The gun sounds are super realistic. The players voices while giving commands are spot on. The sounds of grenades are also realistic.

Overall: R63 is the best cops vs robbers shooters on the xbox. Its storyline, AI, multiplayer capabilities, make this game one of the best in the FPS class.
Gameplay: So realistic you will feel like you are actually there. Aiming your gun has never felt more real! Playing with AI teammates is a beautiful touch.
Graphics: Grenade effects are marvelous. The physics are great. The level designs are awesome. The models get two thumbs up. This game is one of the xbox's most beautiful.
Sound: Communicating to your team is a feature that pushes this game right to the top. All the gun sound effects and music are also near flawless.
Suggestions: Release more of these!!!

Overall: a very good game overall, ai is generally good... but enemies are always in the same places. a good solid game
Gameplay: controls are very good, easy to get used to, and very responsive... one thing that you do miss out on is the ability to jump, and interact with objects... overall its very easy to get used to, but more difficult to master
Graphics: this game does have good visuals, but nothing near stunning... should better for an xbox exclusive... but now since it is on ps2 it is probably being pushed... but on xbox it is not being used to the extent of it's graphical power... they are good, but could be better.
Sound: i love the idea of using the xb live headset to communicate in the game... environments sound realistic, and weapons sound good... overall, good quality sound...
Suggestions: well, i think that the sequel should have better graphics, and jump, and object interaction capabilities... an offline multiplayer would also be nice.

Overall: Tom Clancy Out did himself again with redstorms help, This first person shooter military special ops simulator type game,Has Explosions gun fire stratigic setups , and online playability is a major plus.
You play a Ding Squad leader of Rainbow six your missions to elimanate terriost and rescue hostages in campaign mode and online your mission is to kill or be killed you and up to 16 of your freinds play online or you can play anywhere from 4 to 8 against 8. International game play Tournement capabilities Thanks To TC Arena,And downloadable content to keep the game fresh and new.Who could ask for more from a game if you are in to first person shooters and tactical simulators this game is a must buy!!!!!
Gameplay: Gameplay single player with voice command is a definite rock on quality. The moveability is fluent , realalistic and very formidable,Granted the voice command has a few bugs in it cause the game still registers the button commands for the team move as well as voice at the same time.Diffrent mission settings make the game replayable in one player mode more often then most games. The online Play is exciteing Thanks to TC and All The People involved in it. Just one draw back to online play is if your broadband connection dosn't have a good upload or is crowed you experince lag and it can cost you a death or too but for the most part online is the best way to play this game movement is still fluid (with a good connection) and most everyone online is freindly.it can get repetative but hence the new map downloads.Which Makes this a game next to halo.
Graphics: This visuals are basic visuals for a video game of today but yet not as pixelated and blocky there was time and effort put in to this game backgrounds are totaly interactive and a neat lil thing is on the visual online when someone is talking to you look at them and there mouth moves with there words so i gave trhe visuals a 4.5
Sound: FOR ALL US HARDCORE GAMERS. Rainbow 6 3 is Totally sorround sound 5.1 to 7.1 compatible So gameplay is totaly sounding life like. From Crickets chirp to explosions to vehicle sounds definetly a wonderful sound graphic combination. Take it from someone who has 100+ hours of play on this game
Suggestions: You should get together with team compete and some online gamers for map suggestions and compatibility problems guys but overall My hats off to you guys at ubi and redstorm.

Overall: Holy Crap. What a game. This game will cause you to lose track of time, and realize its 4 in the morning and you are still playing with your friends on live. Wow. I have totally forgotten that this game even has a single player campaign mode due to the sheer awesomeness of the XBox Live play. It is by far the greatest game on XBox Live right now and rivals Halo for the best game on the XBox.
Gameplay: Well since I never play single player, I will just do the gameplay of the online play. In team survival, 2 teams face off against eachother, use team work, and whatever means to eliminate all of the members of the other team. The XBox Live headset is utilized very well in this game, and you can give your teammates orders on which direction to go, which direction the enemy is in, and you can always talk about whats happening in the real world too.
Graphics: Visually stunning. Another Tom Clancy masterpiece. The game environments are eyecandy, ranging from the snowy slopes of Peaks to the russian village in Old City. All player models are great too. You can actually see the players lips moving when they are talking through their headsets.
Sound: Great lobby music, very catchy. Sometimes you can hear players humming or whistling the RS3 tune while in the dead lobby. Very amusing :)
Suggestions: I can't think of any. My mind is blank. Must go play more RS3....

Overall: i don't know if this game is the best on xbox live, but the single campaign is very
challenging on veteran and elite mode, the sound is probably one of the best i have experienced ever and the
graphics are the big let down for a company like UBISOFT who made the unforgettable TOM CLANCY;S SPLINTER CELL a great game that took the xbox to another level, but after all RAINBOW SIX 3 is a very goog game with a lots of action that sure will keep
you very busy for a while.
Gameplay: RAINBOW SIX 3 is a tter type of game, you play the roll of
ot;DIAZ who is the leader
of the tactical squad named RAINBOW SIX, on this game you have to fight against terrorist by killing some of them(i say killing some, because some will give
up during combat,so you have to put some of this cowards on handcuffs and secure them) free hostages, disarm
bombs, etc you know everything that goes into the world of terrorist, just make sure that once you are on field you don't get wasted, because that'ss mission over and you have start all over again, unless if you save the game between areas, after
all rainbow six 3 is a very good game if you like fps or tactical squad games like
ghost recon.
Graphics: the graphics are very like the ps2 games wich i hate ,because after i saw
SPLINTER CELL on the xbox i expected the same or better quality of visuals from
UBISOFT.but i guess they didn't think this game had the potencial to sell well like SPLINTER CELL,i love the
weapons, are cool, but the humans look very blocky in
my opinion.
Sound: no complaints on this
deparment, probably the best weapons sound on any game today. the voice acting on the latino terrorist is good too.
Suggestions: just work on the graphics and dont think rainbow six or any game from the tom clancy's series won't sell well, xbox
contoller and the majority of people who own a xbox are into shooting games,am
sure this game is the best on xbox live right now, thanks UBISOFT for all the support and the past to the xbox gamers and congratulations on these superb games:RAINBOW SIX 3,SPLINTER CELL,PRINCE OF PERSIA AND GHOST RECON i own every single game ,because you guys are good on tactical
shooting games.

Overall: Greatness captured on a disc. It's the best xbox live game by far, nice slow paced action with funny deaths add to a satisfying kill, almost as satisfying as a kill in halo...
Gameplay: Single player campaign lacks a bit but xbox live makes up for EVERYTHING! If it had a co-op offline mode it would be gold, but it doesn't, so it comes off as a silver/goldish mix.
Graphics: BEAUTIFUL! Maps you'll learn to love, positions to Deagle-ize those pesky .50 callers (pronounced: Kal-Ers) and realistic weapons.
Sound: Sounds that make me believe they actually sound like the real guns, unlike counter-strike. Ricochets sound beautiful but the question that's bothered me the most is how i can here the silencers and the terrorists can't, and in xbox live everyone can here the silencers... meh, it's all good.
Suggestions: Uhm... Team up with bungie and id and create a counter-terrorist masterchief who thwarts hitler's plans of domination!

Overall: This game requires stealth team work and skill and is the best team Tom Clancy game to be released. A multitude of weapons at your disposal you are sent on different missions basically to stop an evil venezualan. Great on-line as well as solo it uses the head set to its full advantage.
Gameplay: Great thing about this game is the head set. You can use it in solo play to command your team mates telling them to open and close doors on your command. only problem is they dont always listen. You might find yourself repeating the command at a variety of speeds as well as shouting which can be frustrating as well as making you look a bit mad.

The controls a relatively simple once you get the hang of them, but they can be confusing at the start.

Gameplay is great it really feels as though you are part of a tactical squad, however , the game is a bit repetative with enemies in the same position again and again, after a while its becomes like pattern running.

I have never experienced connection problems with other online games but this one seems to have its fair share, which brings down the score. Once you are connected to a game it is possibly the best on i have played and well worth the wait.
Graphics: Looks exceptionally good, blood sprayed form bullets onto the walls, enemies slump against boxes or roll down stairs it is very detailed. other great visual effects are the explosions, powder grenades create a great cloud of smoke and the explosion of frag grenades is very impressive.

The scenary is very detailed and looks immaculate, a favourite of mine are the glass blocks and the way that they distort images behind them it shows that they were prepaired to put a lot of effort into the visual aspects of the game.
Sound: As you can probably appreciate there is not much music in the game otherwise it would take away form the realism of a swift stelthy attack, this is not missed though.

The different weapons have differnt firing sounds powder grenades crackle when they explode it is very detailed so much infact that you can hear the pin being pulled out of the grenade. A nice touch is when wearing the head set voice communications travel only through the ear piece.
Suggestions: Game becomes a bit predictable but then all games of this genre do. Online gaming could be improved. a split screen co-op and the additions of some of the splinter cell capabilities such as shooting out lights and fibre optics to see under doors.

BYOB Kenobi
Date reviewed: January 22, 2004.

Overall: This is the perfect online game for anyone who loves first person shooters but can't find the realism that would take a game to the next level. I am the kind of gamer that likes to be able to pop some guy in the head or shoot someone clean in the chest a couple of times and see them drop. That is exactly this game. No running and jumping around firing wildly like in games like Halo or Wolfenstein. This game is not easy to pick up and play. From speaking to friends on xbox live it seems to take an average of 20 hours online to really make yourself dangerous.
Gameplay: gameplay is varied. There are times you are leaning out from behind a box waiting and times you are running and gunning. The online coop play is amazing, but I spend most of my time in team survival with a little sharpshooter (unlimited respawns, every man for himself, timed game for most kills)
Graphics: graphics are amazing. They spared no expense when it comes to scenery and level design. The graphics are great where they need to be and toned down where it will really save bandwith. You aren't going to see the amazing detail of the master chief when you look at the player next to you, and people don't move as smooth as in some other games, but that is only because the framerate for some actions of the characters is taken down to save online bandwith.

Basically, the graphics are amazing as they should be and functional as they can be
Sound: It's as simple as this: You won't find another game with the same realistic sound as RSix3. Everything from footsteps, to grenades, to gunfire all sound like you are there. Add surround sound and it's so real is scary. The details in the sound effects are off the charts. If a grenade is thrown in the basement and you are outside it sounds muffled. You can actually find tangos on any map just by listening for them. 5.0 isn't a high enough rating for the sound
Suggestions: Online play is great, but there are some glaring issues that have come about lately.
First, and most importantly to most gamers who have been playing this line of game ever since the original rainbow 6, is that this game does not include kit restrictions like ghost recon or any of the previous Tom Clancy games. The only options you have are to turn on or take off grenade launchers and thermal vision. This game includes a .50 caliber sniper rifle that is so powerful and has such a high rate of fire that you can basically run around and blast your way through entire teams before they can even get a shot off. The weapon is unrealistic and annoying. In fact, it is so powerful that if you hit a man in the foot or hand it will instantly kill them. There are weapons that take 2 head shots to kill. That weapon is the only poorly designed thing in this game and the host of the match should be able to set whether to use them or not. Beyond the .50 cal debate, there are times that people want to play pistol matches or only use certain weapons to make it interesting, but it happens, without fail, that someone will run out with a pistol and someone else will pull their M16 off their back and just mow them down. Having kit restrictions like every other Tom Clancy game would improve online gameplay 10 fold. It would have to be total control to be effective. You would have to be able to limit or restrict all together any weapon or device (or amount ex. how many grenades or how much ammo) including assault rifles, sniper rifles, shotguns, pistols, grenades, remote charges, claymore mines, etc. The option to only make certain weapons available for use would really spice things up to the next level and make this game even more entertaining online.

Next, the stats do not report correctly all the time. You are also more likely to see "server error" than your stats when you click on statistics. once you are there, you have a snowball's chance in hell of getting to your weekly or monthly stats. Another problem that comes up from time to time is that the game will only report your deaths and not your kills or vice versa. This game is all about your kill to death ratio seeing as the ELO point system means nothing to anyone and if you are playing for a couple hours on the same server and rack up a bunch of kills and then you check and only your deaths report it can be very frustrating.

The voice communication is great, but there are many people who I can't hear and they can't hear me. I thought that was a one time problem, but there are guys I play with on almost a daily basis that I can't hear, they are not on my mute list, and they can't hear me even though other people in the room can hear them normally.

Clipping is a huge concern. There are maps, especially garage, where there are well known locations where you can lean 'through' a wall and shoot at the people on the other side even though they cannot see or shoot you. I didn't like this when I first heard that you could see through, now that I have experienced great sessions go to crap because of a guy wiping out entire teams through the wall over and over I hate it.

Leaning invincibility - in this game you can lean or peak out from behind objects to get a better view. That is great, but just about every day I get to the point where I have my rifle zoomed in on a guy that is leaning out from behind a box and hitting me where I can't hit him even though his head is in plain sight and easily targetable. This seems to be a deep programing error. I say this because if you walk up behind a guy that is leaning and put your gun to the back of his head and lay 21 bullets into him he won't even get a scratch even though you are standing where you can see his whole body. It is obviously designed where when you lean it mathmatically lowers your probability of being hit. It is obvious online that people have found this out because you will see people standing in the open leaning to one side and killing people because his chances of being hit while leaning are greatly decreased. I would love to see a patch that makes the visible leaning head just as much a viable target as it would be when not leaning. Also, make it so that leaning in the open doesn't make you semi-invincible.

Friends list problems (might be xbox live as a whole) - recently there were some lengthy problems where you couldn't see some friends who were online. I was on the phone with a friend of mine who was playing, but didn't show up as online on my friends list. Also, people in your game couldn't be seen as online. They were being listed as offline. This is a MAJOR problem seeing as 90% of the fun of this game comes from finding good hosts and good people to play with online. Without working friend lists this game isn't even half as good. This comes in combination with the horrible stat reporting. If you try to optimatch, find a game, and attempt to join, you are most likely going to see, "stats will not be reported for this game do to an error" Now if you cancel out and go back in a bunch of times, eventually you won't get the message. The problem is that every time you cancel you have to refresh the list of games and wait 30 seconds for the new list of the same games to come up and try again. It doesn't sound like a big deal if it only happens once and you get to go back into the same room before it fills up, but often times the games fill so fast that you can't get in. Also, repeat this process 15 or 20 times and see how much fun your having. If the friend lists are down and you want your stats to report you are in for a fun waiting game that could last up to a half hour.

Overall: Tom Clancy's rainbow six 3 is an Fps with excellent realism graphics and game play what all players look for.
Gameplay: not only a superior single player game Rainbow six is probably the best online FPS. After 5 mins youll be in the action giving your team mates specific orders and unloading some bullets into an unsuspecting enemy. With modes such as Mission (A co-op version of the single player game), terrorist hunt, Survival, Team Survival, and sharpshooter theres hours of game play.
Graphics: Rainbow six not only excells with amazing A.I. and realism. It also uses the Splinter cell game engine to provide excellent lighting and realism in the game environment. Also to be looked out for is the excellent Flash bang effects.
Sound: With brilliant bullet sound the dynamic sound brings another dimension to this already immersive game. You will often hear the terrorists shouting desperate orders or warnings which also helps to add the feeling of realism.

Overall: This game is so great. The missions are extremely fun but that is only half the story. The XBOX Live Play is the best. The game on line is so enjoyable, you can have 100 friends, and many different game types are availible.
Gameplay: The controls are easy and tight. I had no problem figuring out this game. I think they are better then Ghost Recons.
Graphics: The graphics are amazing. The lighting engine is the same as splinter cell's. The graphics are amazing and the people are very realistic looking.
Sound: The sound of bullets whizzing by is fantastic. Grenades and explosions are awsome. You can hear people walking up steps and doors opening.

Gameplay: Take control of the special forces unit Rainbow Six in order to stop the terrorists and save the day. Give team orders like breaching doors and clearing out rooms. Stradegy counts. FUN!
Graphics: Graphics are amazing. The best use of lighting and shadows that I have ever seen on the box. Cut scenes were kinda half hazardly put together I thought. Often the characters talk like they're out of a cheap movie from Hong Kong. But in game graphics are the best I've seen.

Overall: This game rocks! Almost everything I ever wanted in a game. Its fun, excd most of all, addictive.I love the headset option. This is the future of gaming.
Gameplay: Almost perfect controls. Your joes move went directed, well most of the time.It takes a bit of getting use to.The only thing that sucks is how long it takes to reload your weapons. You are sure to take a few hits while loading if you are not careful. This is my first experience with using a headset.Let me tell you, I rocks. It really brings you into the game.I was sitting at the edge of my couch half the night.Which brings me to how addictive it is.I sat there for seven and a half hours the first night I played it.My wife was thrilled.Ha Ha! I'm so glad I got rid of my Playstation 2. The only problem Ive had so far is that one of my joes got stuck behind some barrels as I was clearing a room and I was calling for them with no response. I back tracked and found him running in place behind these barrels. What a dumb@$!....
Graphics: Very cool graphics in this game.Sort of reminds me of Splinter Cell.(DUH) I just love it when you walk into something like curtains and they drape over you and sway back and forth. It gives me the chills. What really rocked was when I shot a dude standing on a set of stairs. He fell to his death and preceded to slide down the stairs.I got a woody man.
Sound: The weapons sound pretty authentic from what I can tell.I'm a Joe myself and as far as I'm concerned they rock(once again). The music is really cool. One cool effect is when one of your joes bites the dust the music takes on a minor quality (sad) that makes you want to take a moment of silence if only someone wasn't trying unload some fast hot lead up your terd-cutter.No complaints in the sound department....

Gameplay: When i first played this game, i was like eh, bc of the way the aim is. it gets jerky as u fire. but i guess its all about realism and u'll get used to it after a while. (i've played this game for almost 100 hours and i can say that im used to it)The online multiplayer is what makes this game shins. The single player was kinda easy for me and i would say that it is not worth 50$ for single player. If u have live, i strongly reccomend you to get this game if u like FPS games. The gameplay is just so addicting and it'll keep you coming back for more and more. i jsut cant get enough of it.
Graphics: the graphics are the best looking since Splinter Cell. at some parts in the game u can notice some places that are "sloppy" but it does not effect the game for me. The night vision and thermal vision works very well in graphic terms. overall, i have no problems with the graphics in this game.
Sound: the sound description, well, i like the explosion sound as an grenade goes off and i also like the sound of a maching gun being unloaded into the enemies. sound dosent really mean anything for me in the game since im an hearing impaired person.its the gameplay that counts
Suggestions: fix the .50 cal issue, friends join issue and maybe add in some new gameplay modes for live as well as some new weapons.

Overall: Another great game from Red Storm. The single player is fun, but the multiplayer is where it's at. Lots of variety of maps and weapons and tons of game types. Expect this to be a Platinum Hit.
Gameplay: The new voice commands are great. No more taking time out to hit your buttons to get your squadmates in action. The controls seem to be a little slow sometimes, but once you get accustomed to it, it's not a major problem.
Graphics: The visuals are just amazing. Still get some enemies who fall through walls and such, but nothing that takes away from the gameplay. The flashbang effect is great, really gives an advantage.
Sound: The audio is this game is great as well. You can hear your squadmates respond to your commands and the sounds from the weapons sound very good.
Suggestions: Great game, hard to make any suggestions.

Overall: This is a brilliant game and anyone who has xbox live must have this game. Even if you dont have live then there's still a lot of fun in single player. The way you can interact with your other team members in single campaign with the voice headset is awesome, it takes a bit of getting used to what commands do what but when you get the hang of it, its wicked, you can actually boss your team about. It is so fun just telling your team to open a door, flashbang it and clear. It really makes you feel in charge. On xbox live the character detail can differ from single player but who cares, the gameplay is awesome. Another thing which may may take a few hours of getting used to is the recoil on the gun when you fire it. It does shake about a bit but it is realistic and you get used to it after hardly any playing at all. DONT BE PUT OFF BY THIS, i was put off by the demo but that was only because i played it for about 2 mins and thought what a load of s**t. Overall this game rules and it is the best FPS around. GO AND BUY IT!
Gameplay: The gameplay is awesome, especially on xbox live. If you have live you will find this very addictive and you will be sitting for a few hours trying to master it, and when you have mastered it you will be turning nocturnal just to kill more terrorists and beat your mates high scores. The only thing i dont like about the ranking system is the ELO. I dont know what the hell it stands for but it is some way of calculating a score by your kills and deaths. But the thing is, there are some people really high in the rankings who have only been playing for a few hours and only have maybe 10 kills and 3 deaths. On xbox live, if you kill someone who has more ELO than you, it boosts your ELO up higher. But if you get killed by someone who has lower ELO than you, then your ELO decreases more. I'm not too fussed about this though because i only play the game for fun, not really for the statistics. But if you do want to get competitive then the ranking system still is good. You wont be dissappointed with it thats for sure.
Graphics: The visuals are awesome. Especially offline the character detail is really cool. The faces look real. But the best part of the visuals overall is that on xbox live, when your friends speak through the headset, their mouth moves. It looks cool and it is really good for laughs. I was cracking up when i bought the game and he came up to me and started speaking to me and his character mouth was moving. It freaked me out. Another good pointer on the visuals definatly has to be the ragdol affect on the characters. when they die it looks so realistic. For instance if someone is standing next to a balcony or a window which is high up and gets shot with a 50CAL (very powerful weapon) they fall back and plummit to the ground below. I love it how they bend around every object and the way the players joints move in their body looks awesome. Night vision and thermal vision are awesome aswell. It is cool to turn thermal on and just storm a room because you spot any heat in a body straight away, meaning it is a lot quicker and easier to fill them with lead (hehe). The visuals are a definate top.
Sound: The sounds are quite good in Rainbow Six 3. Especially if you have surround sound. You can hear the players creep up on you as you get ready to cap them in the head or other various parts of the body (saying nothing!) It makes the game so much more tactical as you can wait really quietly and listen out for footsteps or sounds indicating that someone is coming (again...saying nothing). The weapon sounds i suppose are good. I have never really taken any notice into that though because its not really a big issue in the game being elite. I have noticed though that some of the weapons sound really realistic. Overall the weapon sounds are nothing to worry about, it wont make you take the game back and complain thats for sure. Overall, sounds are very good.
Suggestions: If i "HAD" to suggest something to the developers then it would have to be the recoil on the weapons. It isnt a major concern but it isnt really a game that you can pick up straight away and love to pieces. You have to play it for an hour or two to get used to the game engine and get used to the realism of the reactions to the player from the weapons. Nothing major at all here though

Overall: Having played the other Rainbow Six games on my PC I was quite eager to play it on my XBOX, Now that I have it I can't put it down. Love the choice of weapons. This game is a MUST PLAY MULTIPLAYER GAME ! This game made my buddy Buy his XBOX ! :)
Gameplay: Gameplay is great. That's really I can say. The angles are good. Being able to take the positions of the other team members when you die is an excellent feature.
Graphics: It's nice to see that some things don't change mabe it's just me but I don't see any difference in the visual aspect of the game from the previous RS Games.
Sound: Sound is the best..... Makes having a good stereo worth it. The music well who cares you want to hear that guy coming around the corner not a kick a$$ tune. Leave the songs for other games.

Overall: You could call Rainbow Six 3 a port from Raven Shield because the XBOX version takes some levels from Raven Shield and changes them around a little bit. This game is remarkably done well even with the limited abilities of a console. Raven Shield was a powerhouse of a graphics game on the PC and everyone knows a PC can handle more than any console. With that said Rainbow Six 3 has its flaws only because a console's capabilities aren't as great as a PC's.

So mark my words- if your lookin for some intense multiplayer action than you better have XBOX live. But if your looking for an excellent single player experience than look no further because Rainbow Six 3 delivers with a bang.
Gameplay: Being able to only play with 1 team of 4 doesn't bother me but there are some things that aggravate me. This game is much harder with a controller than it is with a mouse. Half the difficulty of this game is because you have to use a controller. In my opinion no FPS will have as good of controls as Halo did. You just don't have the accuracy with a controller as you would with a mouce. This hurts.

One more complaint- the !&%$@#* system link. I'm sure without a doubt that this game would rock with 16 player system link but like Ghost Recon and Castle Wolfenstein- where the hell are you going to get 16 TVs with 16 Xbox's and 16 freaking copies of this game??? I understand there would be much slow down with 4 player split screen but what about 2 player split screen? And how come when I host a game for me and a friend it only lets him play??? I couldn't even join the game I created for cryin out loud. I was very dissapointed.
Graphics: Graphics are done nice but not great. The environments are done remarkably well like Splinter Cell. The superb lighting, swaying curtains and flash fire effects are all here.

Sound: The sound is also as good as Raven Shields was espectially with a nice set of speakers. I don't have surround sound but I have a Klipsch 2.1 system and it rocks. The bass goes nuts everytime you pull the right trigger and there's enough treble to go with the powerful sub.
Suggestions: good job ubisoft.. ur on fire.

Overall: This game was alright, i am glad that i rented this and not paid big money to buy this game. While the single player mode was fun, the online mode really sucked. If it was a big server, with like 12-16 players, if you died it would take forever to get back into the next round and plus on top of it all you have to go through that long boring equipment screen where there is always some newbie sitting there for hours on end trying to pick some gun, most people didnt even have a selection time limit for that garbage
Gameplay: Gameplay was kind of hard to learn since i think that this game would be better with the classic keyboard and mouse. The control really took a bit to get used to and still your aim will be terrible....... The story line is exciting at the start but it gets repetitive after you keep saving hostage after hostage and defusing bomb after bomb and killing stupid tango after stupid tango. What happend to the mission where you can fly in a helicopter or some vehicle like in that KICKASS Intro Video too the game, that was basically what rocked in the whole game. THE INTRO TO THE GAME. 5.0 ON INTRO YEEEEEEEEE
Graphics: The visual is really good if you are not used to it already from like raven shield or something, it is still the "Unreal Engine" i believe. While this engine is really good, it mainly specializes in its maps, lighting and shadows. The character models were really made crappy, when they strafe sideways it looks like they are surfing on thing air. what nastyness. sometimes i felt that the fire that comes out of the gun was a bit late and not accurate.
Sound: BANG BANG BANG, CONTACT, BANG BANG BANG, TANGO SPOTTED, BOOM BANG, HOLDING POSITION, FOLLOWING, BANG BANG BANG BANG, GREEEEENADEEEE. BOOOOOOOOM............. anything else???? no. Although the music may not be the best, i felt it really suited this type of game.
Suggestions: fiX UP your player models with that walking surfing or whatever that was, how about a cooperative story mode, friends and i really were expecting a cooperative play. BY THE WAY, with out xbox live or XBconnect or whatever, you will not like this game at all, the story line will last about 5 days.

Overall: This game will revolutionize the gaming world forever in terms of speech recognition. I found that aspect of the game along with others to make this game one of the best titles out for the xbox as to date.
Gameplay: Two words: Kick Ass! Ordering your troops around gives you a great feeling inside. The gameplay makes you feel like your in the game which is really good for most people but with some (like me) it can get really tense and nerveracking during the game. But that doesn't bother me at all really. I almost forgot to mention that it is also online!
Graphics: One of my favorite parts of the game is the graphics. The thing that sets this game apart from games like counter-strike is the visuals. To put it simply they are just awesome!
Sound: Great Sound! When you step down into the basement in that first level it scares the !&%$@#* out of me even though I know that there is no one there! The sound effects aren't bad either.
Suggestions: I don't really have anything bad to say except that there should definitely be co-op missions offline.

Overall: I have been playing Rainbow Six 3 so much in the last two days. It has become my favourite game on the XBOX in a short period of time. This coming right after (just days after) playing Counter-Strike, which was a dissapointment. This game was better in almost every aspect.
Gameplay: Admittedly, I have only played through 2 missions in the single player campaign, they were nice, but the gold in this game is found online. For those of us lucky enough to have XBconnect, and the even luckier people to have XBOX live, this game will quickly become your favourite. I myself play it on XBconnect, and the last 2 days I have played it a lot. There aren't many maps to choose from, just like Counter-strike, but the controls system is much better which makes this game much more enjoyable to play. I don't have a headset at home, I wish I did, because it would have made this game a 5.0 in gameplay. Also nice touch on bringing Ding Chavez back!
Graphics: The graphics in this game are quite good, but they could have done a better job on the smoke and gas effects. The skins are good, a little hard to distingush from long distance though.. maybe it's just my bad eyes.. but I killed a couple team-mates because of this.
Sound: The sound for this game is quite good as well. When you get hit with a flashbang, you go half-deaf, which makes bullets sound really cool. Also the voice is a great touch, if only I could have the XBOX headset...
Suggestions: More maps. Improve the smoke and gas effects. Bring back more of the guys from the original Rainbow Six like you did with Ding Chavez.

Overall: Glad I rented this game first. I would not spend 49.99 for this game EVER!!!! Maybe I will buy it when it becomes a platinum hit. I can't believe everyone is following the hype that proceeded this game and just passing it along. I would much rather play spongebob squarepants than R63.
Gameplay: You can run around a corner and the terrorist walks away like nothing happened. Now come on, that guy would follow you until you were dead or even worse. What is the point of playing a game that the enemy doesn't really care if you are there or not? the controls are not very friendly and online play seems to drag on forever.
Graphics: The graphics are great in the game. I would definetly buy the game based on the back of the game box.
Sound: The 5.1 dolby digital does this game justice. When a bullet goes whizzing by you have to duck yourself. My dog was running under the bed when a grenade went off.
Suggestions: Work on the voice commands. While talking to myself about the gameplay my team would run into a hostile situation. Don't take the voice commands out, that and the graphics are the only thing saving this game from certain doom. Make online play a little more strategic, seems like people just run around aimlessly trying to find anyone to kill (try capture the flag or getting through certain checkpoints.)

Overall: The third installment of my all time favorite game series, Rainbow Six. This one just plain blows away Rainbow Six, and Rogue Spear. Your a counter-terrorist organisation brought in only when needed. The elite Rainbows.
Gameplay: The same perfect gaming as before. Except instead of 4 different teams, there is 1 group of 4 team members. The man, Domingo 'Ding' Chavez is the head of your team, and followed by three others. The voice-recognition in Single player is amazingly cool, and the AI is spot on, very hard!
Graphics: Splinter Cell in 1st person, can it get better? Well, yeah I guess it can. Updated graphics, same awesome lighting effects, and character details that just plain rule. The great backgrouds make the game great too.
Sound: Very accurate to the real sounds of each repective gun. M-16 sounds like an M-16, AK-47 sounds like an AK-47. The voices are very well done, as always. And the messages comming through to the headset sound awesome.

Overall: AWESOME game. Campaign is great with the rewarding cut scenes. Xbox LIVE gives it a whole another experience. If you like FPS and you have XBL then this is the game to have!
Gameplay: If you have already purchased XBL, there is an awesome feature that can be used in campaign. You XBL headset can be used to communicate to your teammates to indicate where to go and what to do. Controls are easy to get used to, nothing to complicated.
Graphics: Graphics wise this game is one of the best. Textures not might be awesome, but there are some good lighting effects that i think everyone can appreciate.
Sound: All i can say is WOW. The sound effects for the weapons sound real. With my 5.1 surrond sound its like the explosions are happening right next to you. The sound literally rattles my walls. SuperB job on the sound!!
Suggestions: Keep up the good work. Great job with the XBL capabilites. Maybe make the textures a little better.

Overall: Great game! That's Splinter Cell in Action and First Person. Its realistic and thrilling, so you can get really absorbt and reaise your bloodpressure. Top Notch. Creating a new level of FPS-Tactics.
Gameplay: Actually I'm no fan of FPS's / exept of course Halo. But this game rocks.
I usually hate that FPS's arent realistic - but the "real"-feature plus the emphazis on tactics instead of senseless shooting makes this game so special. Its a must for SplinterCell Fans. (voice command is great and makes you submerge into the game)

Graphics: Very good. Splinter Cell engine. Do I need to say more? Its not better than S.C. but almost as good. Sometimes you simply have to switch off the night vision googles to be able to look at the beautiful light and shadow effects!
Sound: I would give the sounds a 6.0 if I could. Everything sounds so real!
They've done a great job! (although I dont wanna know what my neighbors think is happening in my appartment when I switch on my surround system!)
Suggestions: Give us the possibility of shooting out the lights like in splinter cell, and hide better in the shadows.
A "shootable" camera to check out the room before entering would be great too...
Make the single player campaign longer, and let us have split screen co-op.
Dispite that: Great Work! More of such goodies!
