Overall: If Snow Boarding is your thing then the Amped series is what you wanna check out ASAP. Amped 1 is what I call the "first decent" snowboarding game for the xbox.
Gameplay: The controls in Amped are great. You have all your grabs, grinds, and flips to pull off as well as all your mountains from the US to Europe to shred up. Only downer is that you cannot get style points (found later on in Amped2) and no XBL capabilities
Graphics: The graphics in Amped are very medicore. You still get good snow effects and sweet mountain designs, but compared to Amped2 this game has nothing.
Sound: The sounds in Amped do get repetitive and annoying ESPECIALLY the voices. The music on the other hand is great and fits snowboarding to its best.

Overall: Really an awesome gaming experience. Any snowboarder's dream. Everything about this game was excellent. Career mode could've have used a bit more work but this game was hard to put down. I liked how each sponser had something different that you had to appeal to. It made the game less repetitive and a lot more imersive. It is the most fun I have had ever with a snowboarding game.
Gameplay: Really easy to play and straight to the point. I like the amount of skill it takes to pull of some sweet tricks. Getting combos are always a challenge and it is insane how long you are able to jib. I love this game. The tricks are the funnest to pull off. I have yet to get that triple front flip! But I think that some of the tricks have made up names that can get silly at times.
Graphics: Really nice graphics. Some of the best that I've seen on any game on the BOX. It really delivers with how great the powder moves and the player models are awesome. The animation sequences are always a treat.
Sound: Could've used some improvement. It didn't sound realistic enough to actually put you on the snowboard. Too artificial in the sound aspect of the game.
The music library was ok. Didn't really appeal to me much. Did someone say custom soundtracks?
Suggestions: Have yet to play the sequel but will wait for Amped 3! I know it will be great!

Overall: The weird thing is that, even though I don't like this game very much, I probably play this game the most, more that Halo or KotOR. It is just addicting.
Gameplay: You try to become the best by exploiting your skills to the media and sponsors... But it can be very frustrating, so my advice is that if you get mad easily, just stick with the pros and do Quick Runs, or start a guy and get ready to spend a lot of time.
Graphics: Best looking snowboarding game during its time, "obviously SSX 3 and Amped 2 look better" but it is very far from burning your eyes out.
Sound: The in-game music sucks, so put in so of your own music, like Simple Plan, Sum 41, Linkin Park, Good Charlete, and Blink 182, any rock or techno will do.
Suggestions: For Amped 3, put in a boost bar/ special grabs, races, and ingame character voices, and better character creation mode. PS- make up some fake boads, the real-life ones are boring.

Overall: Overall its a very well designed game. Not too much excitement in it though but its ok i think. Needs some more to it though to make it last. But good for a snowboarding game and nice to see its not crazy overly outrageous with the stuff you can pull off.
Gameplay: Gameplay is pretty good. Some things you need to do are pretty tough but the challenge is good. Its the kinda game you dont play to win but more just to mess around and pukk stuff off. But it works in this case.
Graphics: Visually its hands down the best snowboarding game ive ever played. Very smooth graphics and an amazing looking environment.
Sound: Sound is nice. Very calm like if you were erally snowboarding and can here the character carving through the snow.

Overall: Great snowboarding game. Best out there right now. Even if you're not into snowboarding, this game is very addictive.
Gameplay: The gameplay has an easy to control system. Whether you're trying to race down the hill, or pull off timed tricks, it's all fairly straightforward. This game also has many different aspects of play that can each keep you entertained without realizing how fast the time is flying.
Graphics: The visuals are great for a first-generation game for the Xbox console. The snow effects are good, and after playing awhile, you don't even realize you're playing a video game.
Sound: What can I say? Rock music, not much to complain about there, unless you hate rock or get pretty sick of the same songs over and over. The sound effects are nothing impressive, but at least they sound somewhat accurate.
Suggestions: This game could probably use some small mini-games or challenges.

Overall: I hate this game. I just cant stand it, the graphics, everything, i dont no why, there isnt really any huge flaw, but i just cant stand it. I guess i was spoiled, growing close to the shaun palmers series on ps2.
Gameplay: The gameplay is glitchy at times, but overall good, career mode wasnt my cup of tea, but others looved it.
Graphics: The graphics were okay. They didn't impress me, but in this sort of game, the gameplay is MUCH more important. I may not like it, because it was an early game, and i didnt switch to xbox till all the graphics were SWEEEEEET, with exeption to awesome-earlys, like halo, and the sort.
Sound: The sound in the game isnt as realistic as it could be, i really didnt like it. I felt like it was coming out of the speakers, not like i was on a mountain. BLAH!
Suggestions: CHANGE IT A BIT...

Overall: A near perfect single player game. Beautiful; graphics, sounds and easy yet challenging game play. The biggest draw back iw the lack of head to head multiplayer play. This game kept me interested for many hours.
Gameplay: Easy yet challenging. The carrer mode was entertaining. The progressiveness of unlock levels leads to appropriate development of skills required.
Graphics: absolutely fantastic. Everyone I have shown this game too, many non gamers are usually breath taken. this transends age barrier.
Sound: I love the sound track. boarding sounds seem realistic. Everything I would expect considering the visual standards.
Suggestions: I hope that Amped 2 has head to head multiplayer play. more terrain and larger runs. keep up the quality looks and sounds.

Overall: Amped 2 is out, but where better to see if you will like the sequel than the sorce of the sequel. This game is now only $20, and its worth a full price game still!!!
Gameplay: Many people critized the controls in this game, but I thought they were great. B to grind, X,Y,and B to do grabs, and A to ollie. those easy controls lets you pull of mindblowing tricks.
The gameplay is spectacular. This a great game..WHy? Well its got tunes of levels, each with sponcer and Pro challenges- you try to improve your rank each time you ype of snowbording game beat a challage you advance. This type of snowbording game is not like any other, its more realistic in gameplay. But even though it is more realistic, you can still pull of the cooliest moves you've ever seen!!!! One of the nicest features is the open freedom. You have levels that are mammoth and take forever to explore it all.
Graphics: The graphics are great. It is all smooth the whole time. You can see the indents on the snow from the bord as you zoom by. The graphics are really nice on the mountain, you can see huge mountains all over in front of you on the sides, etc... Its drop dead gorgious.
Sound: The detail of sound is nice, but which is really nice is the tuns. There is around 150 music indie songs in this game. Sure none of the songs are known, but you will start to like some of them, plus even if you don't you can put your own music on it so its a win win situation.

Gameplay: well not much to say, but you just go and snowboard around and you do good, you unlock sponsor ships and get further into the game.
Graphics: very very nicely done here. the graphics are soo.... smoooth. the trees are ok, but the snow and the snowboarder looks too good.
Sound: eh i dont know much, i dont hear too much sounds, but i like the music they put into this game. But i think they coulda done a bit better on some sound effects...(maybe i need new speakers)

Overall: This was an awesome launch game and a great snowboarding game. It is worth every penny paid whether or not you paid the full $50 or $20 for the platinum hit...Its worth it.
This game is challenging and has some good replay value. It also supports a great feature which unfortunately most other games do not.. The custom soundtracks feature! Nothing like listening to good tunes on your way down the side of the alps! =)
Gameplay: It had a great feel to it. Tricks were realistic and some easy some difficult to pull off. Unlike SSX the moves demonstrated within the game were possible..Ahehehe. There were different things that you had to complete within tracks, such as finding the hidden snowmen and hitting off tricks to hit the right amount of media points and regular points. With every objective completed you unlocked something new to use or do. Opening the possibilities and making the game more enjoyable throughout its play.
Graphics: Visuals! Hoo hah! They were amazing most definitely. Especially when you consider the fact that most people had jumped from a Playstation2(Mediocre graphics =P) or from a DreamCast(which is what I came from) to an Xbox. The new best generation console. So alls I got to say is visuals were jaw dropping compared to that of such a DreamCast and PS2 IMO..
Sound: Yay! One of few games that used the Custom Soundtrack option on their game. Its so sad that more games don't have it because that addition is more appealing when im trying to pick between two games. The game had excellent FX for that sound that it did have and how can you go wrong with your own music? Sound was GRRrrrEAT!
Suggestions: NEVER CHANGE! =)

Gameplay: Ok the worst part of all was the gameplay i couldnt figure out the moves i couldnt figure out what was going on and the controlsl where confusing to follow. Over all gameplay was flop
Graphics: This is a pretty good part everything was great here i liked the garphics even tho the rest was plain stupid

Overall: Well, I had previously played SSX tricky and was looking for a game similar but not the same. So I picked this up, and hearing rants and raves about its greatness, I was fairly excited. Well I unpacked the game, put it in my xbox, and picked up the controller. I set up my soundtrack and my player (which was painstaiking) and got on the mountain. Well it certianly was a dissapointment, a good game gone bad is this case. With some uniuqe elements, I would have expected much more.
Gameplay: Well this is a mix of uniuqe elements, and some poorly laid out elements. One of the most uniuqed elements of the game is the whole "media" thing. It is a uniuqe twist, but IMHO it doesnt save the game. I wanted a much more fast paced racing game, but instead I found myself restarting more than playing.
Graphics: This is no doubt, a good category for the game. The visuals are very nice. From the snow, to the wrinkles in the shirts, they are pretty nice.
Sound: The music in the game is nice, whetehr you use your own music or use the ones in the game, its pretty impressive.
Suggestions: How about making it a bit easier.

Overall: Good fun game...Great for people who arent that into snowboarding or people who are complete shredders..
Gameplay: Good gameplay..Hasn't lagged for me yet..You can keep playing and playing because of all the levels and different tasks in the level..Some people say when you hit the ramp the turning is slow, which is sorta true, so the second you hit the ramp or right before and you wanna spin or flip, you gotta press the direction u wanna go.Get enough mone and go buy yourself some gear!
Graphics: Looks great. The scenery is very realistic from the edges in the rocks, to the branches on the trees, to te character who ooks like a real person and even the snow, from powdery to packed.
Sound: There really isnt that many sounds to this game except for if you bail, or if you grind and when you land.So that doesn't give it many points, but they have a huge variety of songs and tons of soundtracks.
Suggestions: Not really, i geuss put more popular soundtracks..The ones that were on there i've might of heard at least one.

Overall: I am a big fan of snowboarding games, and this one is definately the best out there for any system. With great graphics, gameplay and sound, it's nearly perfect, but still can be improved...
Gameplay: It's a fun game, although does get pretty hard, it's worth it just to bust some moves down Altibahn's runs.
Graphics: Nothing wrong with the graphics, they're great! Snow trails, but why isn't anyone in the chairlifts? Than again, that's not really the graphics of the game. Overall, the mountains are great, and the people are just as good.
Sound: Sound is good. Nothing amazing, but still good. Sometimes the pros you ride against get annoying though...
Suggestions: Good job! Only a few things need to be fixed. One of them...aerial tricks. Why can't we do misties or cripplers? All you can do are corkscrews, rodeos, front flips, and backflips! Well, the grabs too...Also, with a game like this, it shoulda been more realistic. You get too much air, and the player physics aren't great either. But it's still good for a play every now and than.

Overall: This is one of the most fun snowboarding games ever. I was addicted to it a year and a half ago, and i still am today.
Gameplay: The game is just plain overall great. The career mode is loads of fun, and your boarder is fully customizable with everything you can imagine. But... 1 at a time multiplayer? gahh... bad choice.
Graphics: Visuals are great. the skys the limit, and so are all the mountains that you can see. there is the occasional jagged pole, and the trees are pretty bad, but other than that, its perfect.
Sound: The sound is straight out of the real mountains. Comments can get slightly repetitive, but theres so many, that even though you know youve heard the comment before, it was so long ao that it doesnt bother you. The hours of included tracks are great, and the soundtrack option iss there, so that is always a must.

Overall: Amped is a great snowboarding game. The graphics are good and the sound is good also. If you are into snowboaring you should pick this game up.
Gameplay: I liked how you get to go anyway you want down the mountain. Also I like how there is no time limit. The mountains are all pretty different. I only have 3 things I didn't like about this game. The first is that the controls are pretty hard to get used to. Atleast for me they were. The second thing I didn't like was the snowman hunt. You would have to find snowman in the level and crash into as a part of one of the challenges. Lastly is that some of the challenges are really hard and get frustrating. Otherwise this was a great game and I had a blast playing it.
Graphics: The graphics were pretty good but could be a bit awkward at times. Like when you crash into rails the player goes weird. He can sometimes go through the rail or keep crashing into it. The collision detection needs to be fixed. Otherwise the mountains look really nice.
Sound: There are an insane amount of music tracks that come with the game. If you don't like them you can put in your own music from your harddrive. Sound effects are pretty good but the camera men and other snowboarders can get a little annoying but they do say some funny stuff.
Suggestions: Fix some of the graphical issues and eliminate the snowman part of the game.

Overall: A brilliant game that has hopefully spawned a brilliant series. The most true to snowboarding game there is. From the literal 100's of songs from relatively unknown artists included in the game to the freestyle gameplay, it can't be beat as a REAL snowboarding game.
Gameplay: Innovative. Every game these days seems to be copying Tony Hawks control scheme. Thank god Amped decided to go its own way and innovate snowboard specific controls. I really appreciate how they took the location of the grabs on the board and tried to make them correspond with the direction of the joystick that you press. For instance, a nose grab is up, a stalefish is down and left. The trick system is quite amazing. You can literally make your own tricks. Busting out tweaked rodeos is definetly pleasing, but being able to innovate is also a much needed aspect and adds tons of replay value. The gameplay modes are great as well. From career mode to 2 player free riding it all seems to be there. My only gripe is that the hit detection is kinda off at times and there seems to be trouble with rails. Sometimes you just crash at the end of certain ones, for no apparent reason. lets hope its fixed in the sequel.
Graphics: Definetly a crowd pleaser. A visual leader in the Xbox line up for the year of 2001 and most of 2002. The only thing missing is an abundance of bump mapping, which is always appreciated.
Sound: Another crowd pleasing aspect to Amped. The incorporation of approximately 150 songs by artists unknown to the general public is grand in itself. However, it also has good usage of DD 5.1 and some neato sound effects. I love the taunts of the snowmen. Halarity for sure. Its also great how other poeple on the hill egg you on if you crash and cheer you on if you are ripping. The sound is all there and more.
Suggestions: The career mode is great, but an incorporation of true to life sponsor ships would be a welcome feature. While it may be confusing to some of the general public, poeple in the know would be down for sure. Ofcourse, there are the usual tweaks and suggestions that poeple have, but most of them don't apply and the ones that do are simple and redundant.

Overall: An addictive game that lets you ride on some of the best mountains as you've got snow all year round. Which is a bonus for us Aussies as we don't get snow. :(. Start your career as a local rider and work your way up. It sounds simple enough but it isn't. With each step your rider gets better, making for an easier life. With over 100 challenges to complete in you career mode and then you have the good old high scores to beat. Then comes multi-player, which is a bit dissapointing for an Xbox game, but hey it's still fun! BTW: Multi-player is played by going one at a time, that is why it is dissapointing. But all up this is a great game and well worth the price as it is now in the Xbox classics list!
Gameplay: Every player gets that urge to learn all the ways down the mountain and master all the tricks. If you are one of these players you're in luck. There are plenty of mountains to choose from and many tricks to pull off. It plays smoothly but can occationaly get frustrating when all you seem to do is smash into poles and trees.
Graphics: Great grafics and the backgrounds look reaistic, so do the trees. Another thing to notice is that nice snow that is flying up behind you board.
Sound: The soundtracks that come with the game stink. But you can however put on your own music, that you've put onto your hard-drive, while you play Amped.
Suggestions: Better multiplayer would be nice, i.e. Split Screen or even multiple people going down the one mountain on live or system link.

Overall: its a well rounded game. my favorite part of this game is being able to play my own music. the replay value is very good since theres always lots to do.
Gameplay: the gameplay gets some what tiresome becuase you see alot of teh same stages over and over again. except they start you on different parts of the mountain. I will give the replay value a 4 though becuase theres alot to do like finding the snowmen, getting the highcores on the stage, and trying to get more sponsors.

the crontrols are pretty good. sometimes its hard to stick a landing which is the major annoying part of this game. but still good gameplay
Graphics: graphics are okay. very repetitive scenery though. the player isnt detailed enough in my opinion and if you ask me the snow couold always look a little more yellow if you know what i mean.
Sound: the music in this game is actually pretty decent. but the fact that you can stick your favorite cd into xbox makes the sound a 5

Gameplay: The controls are good, except the ability to change your moves up isn't as varied as THPS. The gameplay is great, just not as good as THPS in my eyes.
Graphics: The graphics, all I have to say is wow. Amped was the first game I got all the way back at launch, and to this date I am still amazed at its graphics compared to even the new games.
Sound: The sound is good, nothing amazing. What I love about the sound though, is the ability to listen to your own music. The soundtrack they include is massive, but, none of the songs really meet my tastes, so the custom soundtracks is great for me.

Overall: On the whole, Amped is an original and also a very good take on the Snowboarding Genre. Extreme sports has become the "thing" nowadys with most games trying to be tony hawks. When i got this game i was suprised about the depth of it, and it kept me going for Hours.
Gameplay: The buttons are easy when you get used to them and the learning curve is almost perfect. You play to earn more on this which is worth while
Graphics: The graphics are amazing seeing as this was a launch title! The snow is amazingly detailed and the character models were solid. The trees and backgrounds were impressive too.
Sound: The music was ok, a bit cheesy at times but good for the genre. Any game that lets you have your own soundtrack though, has to have a 5 because then you cant complain about rubbish music!

Gameplay: Since it was my first i think it was really good except i didn't know how to do melons or whatever or any special tricks and they didn't have very good instructins you either caught on to it or kep falling.

Sound: I hated the voices in the game and some of the music was terribly annoying like the pirate ship song then the farting song but alot of variety i thought it was pretty good.
Suggestions: Better multiplayer and have a teaching option to help anyone get started.

Overall: Amped is a very good game because you have the chance to become a pro snowboarder! The levels are amasing and the gamplay is awesome!I must give it a 4.0 because this game is really worth buying!
Gameplay: The gameplay is very good, you have to challenge some pro snowboarders sometimes and that is really cool! The only bad thing is the multiplayer gaming because the only thing you can do is the high scores and you don't even play at the same time!
Graphics: The visual in this game is really sweet! You can see the guy's jacket moving when the wind is blowing!Everything is really nice! But sometimes the boarder gets stuck on a pipe so that's bad!
Sound: The soundtrack is great because you have music groups not really known but they are excellent! The sound effects are really good too!
Suggestions: You should work a lot on your multiplayer gameplay because it sucks!

Overall: Amped is a snowboard game for the snowboarding world. You're not racing down one slope. Amped gives you the entire mountain to play with, and explore. This is definitely a game that relies on being realistic, my only complaint is that they dont stick to that occasionally, like when you can jump onto the lifts...
Gameplay: Gameplay is entirely endless, the game will definitely take you a while to beat... Each mountain section has 4 scenerios; high score, explore (find the little snowmen on the mountain), sponsor (do the tricks that the people tell you to do) pro (repeat the trick the pro did). And of those scenerios you get three diffrent difficulties.
Graphics: Very good, the trees are good looking, and if you freeze the screen it looks like a snapshot of a real ski mountain.
Sound: Great soundtrack, and you can rip your own. A bit of everything.
Suggestions: Definitely a tutorial, and a split screen multi player

Overall: At the time of release this game rocked. It concentrated on snowboarding not giggles from some cut out gallary of people .Lots of challenges and a good bag of tricks. Some say "not enough tricks".I can understand a pro snowboarder saying this but lets be real .The trick combinations are numerous and the high scoring ones are not a piece of cake to pull off.
Gameplay: I'm sure the other post's will desribe the game .Simple ,beat high scores, beat pro riders, kill some snowmen (stupid part of game)
Graphics: Great detail, movement of clothes, snow spray ,board tracks, trees look natural as does the main trails.snow falls from trees when hit .
Sound: rails sound cool ,hits to the environment around you are alright.edge carving is alright .the sound tracks are plentiful but honestly,I don't think too many players know any of the songs
Suggestions: big air jumps need the ability to center your player (or chance to center)when a trick goes bad.A wrong move and the player goes into a dead weight fall to the ground with no chance to recover. The pro 3 challenge were good but some of the lay outs for jumps didn't make sense.3 small lip jumps in a row with zero landing room in between each needing 13,000 plus to beat the pro was a little stupid but still challenging i guess.

Overall: Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding is a really fun game to play and in general, it's a great game. The main point of the game is simple: snowboarding. There are no rules, no limits, and no opponents. The visuals and sounds of the game are amazing and outstanding. The game offers several modes of playing such as Multiplayer and Quick Race, although the Career mode is the main one. In career mode, you create your own snowboarder and you start to snowboard, trying to lead yourself up the World Rank. One of the main features of Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding is its music. Not only can you play your own soundtracks, but you can also listen to over 10 CDs worth of music when you snowboard. In my opinion, Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding is a high quality game and Microsoft did put some time in making it.
Gameplay: The controls of the game are simple and there is a large variety of tricks to do. When a player starts their career, they first create their own snowboarder and then they start their career. There are over a dozen mountains in Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding, each with many runs. Each level has five stages. The first one is the High Score Challenge, in which there is a high score that a player must beat. The next one, is the Media Coverage Challenge, which is one of the most important parts of the game, where you have to have the media make photos of your tricks, so you can get points and beat the media score. The third one, is Sponsor Challenge, in which there is a sponsor watching your entire run, some sponsors may want you to do spins and flips where others want rails. In the Sponsor Challenge, you have to do certain tricks, for the Sponsor to feel Amped at the end of the run, where at the beginning of the run, the sponsor feels Bored. The fourth one, is the Pro Challenge where you have to follow a Pro down a run and at certain jumps, the Pro does a trick and a player must then do their own trick and make a score equivalent to the Pro's score or higher. There is also the Explore Challenge, where in each level there are eight snowman put all over a level and you have to find all of them. The gameplay of Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding is very good in my opinion. Some levels and runs may be simple to beat and others may have a complex structure which raises the level of difficulty. As you move up the World Rank in Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding, you then gain more skill points and you unlock new levels, new clothing, and new gear. The scoring system in Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding is fair in my opinion, the computer doesn't cheat on scoring. Points for single tricks and trick sets vary, some can be a few thousand, others can even be over 100,000 (one of my highest was 105,000 points in just on set of tricks!). Tricks in Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding can be stylish as well as amazing using trick features such as jibs and bonks. The Multiplayer mode in Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding was not too good in my opinion. I was waiting for the Multiplayer mode to be one where I can snowboard with another player in split-screen, however the Multiplayer mode in Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding is different. In the Multiplayer mode, there are rounds, in which the rules can be chosen such as the winner is the snowboarder with the highest score or the highest trick set score, etc. The Multiplayer mode was not that good, however there is a large choice at the match and round options, which I think improves the Multiplayer mode.

Graphics: The graphics and visuals of Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding are excellent. Every run in the game, has perfect details. From the trees to the halfpipes, everything has good graphics. One major disadvantage in the visuals, is when a snowboarder falls into the snow it looks pretty unrealistic. The Replay mode in Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding is impressive and using the Xbox's massive hard disk, you can save as many replays as you want. The Replays can be even presented at slow or fast motion and at several different camera views. The introduction movie, replays, and overall game visuals are all stunning and amazing.
Sound: One of the most important parts of Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding is the sound and music. Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding is compatible with the Xbox Soundtrack feature. You can use our own soundtracks while you snowboard or you can use the enormous amount of music available in the game. Over 10 CDs worth of music, about 150 music soundtracks featuring rock, rap, hip hop, and more. Another cool sound feature in Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding is the media. When you snowboard past or into a media person, they either say some rude stuff or if you do a good trick, they compliment your snowboarding skills. The sound effects of Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding are good. When a snowboarder goes onto a rail, the sound effects of the friction are pretty cool. Overall, the sound, music, and sound effects of Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding are very good.
Suggestions: Firstly, Microsoft could have improved the Multiplayer mode just a bit, so that players could compete against each other in split-screen. Secondly, I think more different levels could have been added to the game. Apart from these few things, Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding is an excellent game. Thumbs up for Microsoft.

Overall: Amped is one of those games I bought simply because it is now so cheap that you can buy it for a rusty nickle and a piece of gum. I'm not a big extreme sports fan, but found I enjoyed Dark Summit (also a snow boarding game) more than I thought I would. After playing Amped for a while, I found a really enjoyed the game, and now I'm worried that I can no longer claim that I'm NOT an extreme sports fan (oh, no!!).
Gameplay: I loved just about everything about the game. I liked how you strive to get media attention and try to get various publicity (the animated videos were very funny). The controls were very responsive and everything felt great. Nearly everthing from the equipment to your skills is upgradable.
Graphics: The visuals were good, but I think it's really hard to make a game that is set in the snow look fantastic, because there is an overall inherent lack of color. The animations when you wipe out look good.
Sound: Amped uses the custom soundtrack feature, as it should be used in a game like this. I never listened to the default music, so I'm not sure about that. The rest of the sound effects are what you would expect.
Suggestions: This was a good game even for us non-snowboarding fans. I may actually buy Amped 2, keep up the great work.
