About Xbox Addict.com
Back in July 2000, Stephen Cameron made a simple fan site devoted to Microsoft's foray into the console market, the Xbox, aptly called XboxAddict.com. Based in Canada, XboxAddict (XBA) has become known around the world for being one of the largest privately owned fan sites with a reputation known for respect, honesty, and community.
After 15 long years, Stephen decided to shut the doors to XBA, leaving the site online, but essentially keeping it as an archive. However, after a year of being shut down a handful of us true Xbox fans wanted to bring back XBA, not just for ourselves, but to share with other Xbox fans around the world as well.
So, that's what we did in early 2016. Under new 'management', XboxAddict.com is now being led by Adam Dileva and Kirby Yablonski, along with a handful of writers, all with one main purpose: to bring Xbox fans honest reviews, articles, news, and more, from fellow fans that truly love the Xbox platform. Does that make us fanboys/fangirls? Absolutely not, as we are also critics of the Xbox when it makes mistakes, or does something wrong. We don't want to just sing praise, as we want to cover everything Xbox related and give you our honest opinions, not just 'fluff'
We have no fancy office, no company car, not even a single butler, as we here at XBA are regular people as well and we are simply engrossed in the Xbox culture and are truly passionate about sharing our thoughts with the community in a variety of ways.
We are humble and we are honest. We simply want to share our Xbox passion, positive or negative with the rest of the wonderful community.

Adam Dileva: Co-Executive Editor (Gamertag: Variation)
Adam joined XBA at its infancy and has been a staple of the community ever since. Starting as simply a regular forum member, he eventually became a staff writer and started his reviewing experience by jumping into the deep end. He is a seriously passionate Xbox gamer with a collection that could rival many game stores and can talk forever about anything gaming related. He's a crazy Canadian who loves cheese, just don't ask what kind, that's too personal.
Kirby Yablonski: Co-Executive Editor (Gamertag: The Outcast)
A lover of Sushi, Funko POP Vinyl figurines, and home theatre movie buff, this father of two has been gaming on the Xbox platform since the release of the OG Xbox over 15 years ago. It was Xbox Live that really hit home for him as he never gamed online much, except on the Sega Dreamcast, so to play online over high speed internet on a console was a glorious awakening for him. Over the past 18 years Kirby has written for various websites, he has helped found a website, and now he brings his Xbox passion to XBA. Kirby has been a Microsoft Xbox MVP for the past 6 years (you can see the motley gang of Xbox MVPs at https://community.xbox.com/mvp/profile/4038160 ) and was a judge for the Canadian Videogame Awards for 4 or so years. He also admits a weakness to his pet dog's "begging powers" as she knows how to play him for lots of treats.
