Overall: Well I was grinning all the way home as I got this title before it was released here.
To my dissapointment this is the same arcade style game with little to offer diehard mech fans. the publishers have failed to make this a real mech game and instead sold-out to microsoft by making a kiddies game.

Gameplay: basic. you cant choose your weapons, you cant even choose your mech. all the weapons auto-aim so no real skill is required. online play is lame as can be. powerups are a joke. You walk over a power-up and all of a sudden you are repaired???? since when does a 50 foot machine repair itself?
Graphics: great graphics, improvement on prequel for sure. more mechs, better explosions but sometimes a little too large.
Sound: yeah good sound i would say, no problems there. although having the guy yell through the comm channel is really annoying. They state the mission in really childish ways.
Suggestions: Make the game as it was meant to be, not this arcade rubbish.
Battletech once required some real thought and strategy.... this is now a kids game... for shame for shame for shame

Overall: This sequel improves on everything from the first Mechassault. Mechassault 1 was good, but not great and got a little tedious and boring at times, but Mechassault 2 keeps the game fresh with a much better campaign and a wide variety of new multiplayer elements.

A must buy.
Gameplay: Not much has changed from MA1, but the changes are pretty sweet. Stealing mechs in your tiny little power armour is so rewarding and fun. Driving tanks: I know what you're thinking, it sucks right? Wrong. Tanks have a sniper gauss cannon and a cloak. It's very balanced and a great vehicle to drive. Turrets: they launch camera-operated missiles. How sweet is that! There is a lot more in MA2, but you'll just have to find it out for yourself.
Graphics: The visuals are great. Mechs look deadly and really cool. Environments are quite detailed (even on foot.) Nothing to complain about with these visuals.
Sound: The sound is a really treat for anyone who likes hard rock. Papa Roach and Breaking Benjamin are just a few examples of the artists in the soundtrack. All that hard rock really gets me pumped for taking down mechs in campaign.
Suggestions: Not much to suggest. Maybe custom sounds in multiplayer. I have no complaints with Mechassault 2. It's great.

Overall: This game kicks butt. The hijacking of mechs is awesome. You don't know what it feels like to be a short little mech almost an element, and take over a 11 ton war machine. Great guns. Easier to tell what level ur gun is one. Just all around brillant game. Great sounds
Gameplay: The Hijacking is fun to do. It is like simon says. the screen shows x u have to press x, etc untill u have hacked the system. wouldn't recomd getting out of the battle armor to go walk around though, u would get squashed. The guns, mech control are great. Enjoyed flying into battle on a vtol and jump jetting on to an enemy mech for some hijacking. Lots of fun. After to beat the campigin or before. Go onto xbox live. U can do conquest or team slayer, last man standing, etc.
Graphics: Great graphics, not chopy. Great visuals. It is easy to when when a mech is about to blow up. Great blowing up effects. When u fire a weapong u really can see the bullet, laser. If u fire a bullets they show u the shell. That is cool.
Sound: Great sounds. They have gettign away with murder, i think breaking benjamin. Great songs for mech battles. Sounds happen when they need to.
Suggestions: Think of another great story. Make a new game for xbox live like tag with mechs, or soliders. I don't just keep creating good games.
