Overall: It actually looked prety good from the first time i've played it. It kinda reminded me of an anime movie i saw called Macross Plus where there are jet fighters that turn into these gundam type thingies. It was fun but without a manual, i couln't tell what i was shooting at was friend or foe. But it was fun.
Gameplay: I didn't know what i was shooting at! When i shot and distroyed a carrier type thingie, my mission failed. I think that they need to fix the enemy/frendly distinction factor for the HUD.
Graphics: Great player model and visuals. The physics are awesom. i like the explosions and the muzzle flash sprites as well
Sound: The generic Boom! Bang! ARRG! nothing new there, but the Dolby 5.1 somewhat helps a bit when you are surrounded by enemy/frendlies
Suggestions: Better sound, better HUD layout and make the distinction between friend/foe better

Overall: You are a 30 foot tall mech called the Havoc. You are the inhabitants of Helios' last hope for survival. Heres the premise:

It was mankinds most profound scientific discovery of all time, the ability to control wormholes. Earth now had a way of travel beyond our system. The gate to Helios was decided to be the one linked to Earth. War broke out on who would goto Helios. We all made it through, deactivating the gate, and leaving it suspended above the sky as a monument to the past. Inhabitants flourished, until the gate burst to life one day far down the road, and a seemingly endless armada poured forth on helios. Until, mercifully, the gate was destroyed due to strain on its systems. You are Project Gunmetal, our last line of defence.
Whoa, thats heavy.
Gameplay: Controls are simple, when as a mech, your controls are much like Halo's, right stick turns and left stick moves. Right trigger shoots and left fires missles. But as a jet, the right stick speeds up and the left stick manuevers. That makes it hard to make a tight turn or to due any fancy things besides rolling, which is done by pressing B. Your very manueverable, and found myself jumping over my enemies torpedoes and shooting them Max Payne style in minutes.
The biggest feature though is the abilty to change into a jet from mech by the press of Y, thats it, just Y. It adds a layer of gameplay and tactical strategy to it. Go by air in the more maneuverable jet but less armor and weaker weaponry, or the slower yet more shielded and powerful.
Graphics: This is where the game shines. It has everything you could hope for. Volumetric everything, the realest water Ive seen, persistent damage, (nice use of the Hardrive), million-polygon environments. It is a visual feast that could give Halo a run for its money. Flying through a cloud dust while raining down on your enemies a beautifully rendered volley of napalm or torpedoes. Wow.
Sound: These people actually added custom soundtrack in the game. Why? I dont care because I love it. The in-game music is fine, but go ahead and use your own tunes because your not missing anything special.
Other wise the effects are great, although I dont know what a monsterous robot careening through trees sounds like, the crunches and thumps, explosions, and gunfire are all great. It takes advantage of the 5.1 Audio set on the Xbox. Way to go guys!
Suggestions: The one main problem with this game is that it has NO multi-player options. Not even co-op. System Link would have been nice too, an all-out mech-war would be awesome. Oh well, there's always Gunmetal 2..

Overall: This is quite simply one of the worst xbox games to date. Maybe my standards are two high but with Halo showing the potential of the xbox I demand something more advanced than what you could have played on an old nintendo system.
Gameplay: If you enjoy killing numberous enemies with little or no stategy you may enjoy this game. I did not.
Graphics: I gave it a 1.5 instead of a 1 because at least the clouds look real. The enemies have very little definition and the landscape is very plain. I hate the guy that assigns the missions, sounds like the same guy from Bloodweak.
Sound: I need more than explosions to enjoy a game. This game did not have any music that would add to the game play experience. IT JUST SUCKED.
Suggestions: Try making a game that would take advantage of the xbox system.

Overall: At first, the game was a bit difficult to get the hang of it, but after a few times and tries...not to mention some better weapons...you kind of get used to the controls. I didn't like the jet mode in the beginning, but later have been able to finish off some of the earlier missions without switching between the two!!
Gameplay: The versatility between the different modes to control the Havoc makes the game accessable to many different people. I'm more of a "Classic" man myself, but hope to one day graduate up to the elite group and make use of the "Hybrid" settings. The help of the auto-aim also makes some of the more frenzied moments very doable...as long as you don't get overly !&%$@#* y and place yourself in the middle of the enemy!!
Graphics: The panoramic view of the landscape from overhead in the jet mode is quite stunning, and the detail in the friendly/enemy units are pretty cool as well. For those out there who like the good ole carnage, you can step on the little people as well as the building, the trees, the walls...
Sound: The sounds is really good as well, but there is one thing I have to say could use some work... The commander that gives you the warning on some things can become a bit nerve racking and annoying...liable to make a pilot wish to go rogue just to shut him up!!
Suggestions: Only thing missing is the mulitplayer/co-op mode in the game, and maybe even some link/live playability.

Overall: Your Allied Forces are under attack and you are 500 meters away from helping. All you are is just a slow, lumbering mech. You must reach your allies quickly or they'll get fragged and then the mission would be useless. Oh but what is this? Your battle suit can transform into a jet?! Yes it can! So fly quickly to the battlefield to frag your enemies and save your allies!
Gameplay: The gameplay in Gun Metal is through a 3rd person perspective. You are a giant 40 foot mech called the "Havoc" and you can transform into a jet with the press of the Y button. You can switch weapons pressing A or using the d-pad. The gameplay is pretty fast paced. You gotta move as fast as you can to save you allies, who get fragged really easily. Some of the missions get really hard later on in the game. But overall, its all good.
Graphics: Graphics are all that you ask for. You wanna run over some trees, fine. You wanna blow up the tree with some torpedoes, fine. You wanna frag your allies, go ahead. You can run over animals, blood shows even though the ESRB said that there was none. The game uses good work of the Xbox harddrive cause when you destroy lets say a building and you revisit the exact same place in a mission later on, itll show that the building has been fragged.
Sound: Big Explosions.... BONG! You can hear the guns shooting the missles launching, the rockets flying, and hear the Plasma fly and crash right on to your allies. AND IT SUPPORTS CUSTOM SOUNDTRACK!!!
Suggestions: Add some multiplayer. some co-op play maybe? Add some twists to the gameplay cause we have all been there and done that.
