Star Wars Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast

Overall: I had hopes for this game and after reading the magazine reviews I bought it. This was a mistake, I should have rented it first. After many, many hours of frustrating single player game play, I sold it. The level design is poor with silly waste of time things to be done, many which are not clear and leave you running around in frustrating circles long after you shot everyone dead- just to find a tiny lever or edge walk that you missed

Gameplay: As above, its gameplay is poor. The sounds are great and the stormtrooper graphics are cool. Very fun to shoot them. But, the light saber controls are very frustrating and poorly designed. Also two player split screen mode leaves too little of the screen visible to have decent light saber battles.

Graphics: Needs a lot better bump mapping. Up close graphics of walls and computer terminals are very fuzzy. Excellent character animations though and excellent blaster graphics

Audio: Excellent surround sound and music. Blasters sound great and voice acting is very good. I liked this part the best

Overall Score: 4.0 / 10 Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance

Overall: I really am enjoying this game. Wonderfully crafted with very crisp and flowing graphics. A lot of fun- especially two play co-op mode- No split screen for once- can see everything and play together.

Gameplay: A tremendous amount of fun. Two player mode is an excellent touch. Lots of replay value as different characters.

Graphics: Excellent and much improved over PS2. Only drawback is that some characters are a little small on the screen.

Audio: Great sound and music. The best score for a Baldur's Gate game yet. It adds just the right mood and aura.

Overall Score: 10.0 / 10
