MechAssault

Gameplay: X-box controls are wierd for Mechwarrior. This game MUST have a joystick with rudder control and first person perspective. The X-box controller just has too many things for your fingers to do while fighting. The ability to customize the controls, beyond two or three options, would have made the task of switching from joystick to gamepad easier. One big thing this title lacks over the PC version is the ability to customize mechs.
Graphics: Visuals are great. The game does need the ability to switch between third and first person perspective though.
Audio: Great sounds, no complaints. The voice acting is superb. In single player, right off when your commanding officer is riding the tech for using part from heavy mechs to build a smaller mech. That was a good laugh.
Suggestions: Joystick, first person perspective, cusomizable mechs, customizable controls.
The Mechwarrior universe has moved on to Mechwarrior: Dark Age. I recommend a Dark Age based title with the changes listed above.
Overall Score: 6.0 / 10

Gameplay: Race cars, win money, buy more cars. Nice, simple, to the point. I like that you can add goodies to your car and actually see the performance difference on the track. I just wish you could go back and buy the turbo because it disappears after the first time you customize your car or that you could buy engine balancing after you've added turbo. Other than that, game is great.
Graphics: Cars look great. Very realistic. Some of the photos you can take after the end of the race look almost real.
Audio: Sounds are good. Only trouble is most of the engines sould the same. Needs to have the deep, rumbling growl of an American V-8 and the high-pitched scream of a souped up Euro super car.
Suggestions: Develop an all muscle car version. Better engine sounds.
Overall Score: 10.0 / 10

Gameplay: The controls are easy to learn. Even though there are many things to do, it is easy to figure out. My five year old had no problem learning them. The whomping willow is insane.
Graphics: Graphics are great. The people could look a little more realistic when talking to you though and Ginny Weasley's hair looks like a helmet (rather than hair).
Audio: Great voices and sounds. Just wish they could have gotten Kenneth Branaugh (the actor who played Lockhart in the movie) to do the voiceover for Lockhart in the game.
Suggestions: More explorable places in the next game.
Overall Score: 10.0 / 10

Gameplay: Fun and easy to learn but hard to beat. The maps are big with many areas to explore. The maps are not just flat, there are also places to go up and down.
Graphics: Cool anime-like graphics are just right for this game. The visuals of the skating moves are cool. I like doing the rail slide down the sewer pipe and jumping from side to side. The only problem is that when the characters stand still, they dance. Some of them look like they are having seazures.
Audio: The music is great. It really adds to the futuristic, urban theme of the game. The Funky Dealer track is the best. It would be nice if you could add your own music. The voice effects could be better though. It should have voice-over along with the text bubbles for the characters.
Suggestions: Voice-overs for the characters. Maybe a sequel.
Overall Score: 10.0 / 10
