Halo: Combat Evolved
Overall: Halo is the sort of title which comes out once in a bluemoon!!!it is to xbox what final fantasy was to psone!!!it is simply the reason why i bought xbox over ps2 or gamecube!!it's stunningly detailed visuals,extremely high replay value and beautiful music which fits in perfectly with the game made this the success it is today!!!!Gameplay: Gameplay is probably the best section of halo!flexible controls,smooth animations and terrific weapons made it the game of the year for 2001!!it is easy to walk around in this game and the controller response is just truly flawless!!!
Graphics: The extremely highly detailed visuals which were present in halo is not what we gamers can see very often nowadays!!!bungie made sure that none of its customer has any problem whatsoever in this department!although i feel the grass in the game could have been more realistic but again xbox is a new console and the developers will take some time to learn how to develop for xbox and microsoft's super easy development kit does'nt make it really hard for them to do it very quickly!what bungie did with halo in the graphics department is a lesson for all the fps game game developers out there!
Audio: As i stated earlier music fits in perfectly with the soul of the game!!a very good job done by "Marty 'o' Donell" the audio lead for halo!noises made by the enemies like"hey wake up! he is here" are truly great and adds to halo's authenticity or realism level.the semi-ancient semi-mysterious music makes it very thrilling to go through different levels of halo!plutona's voice is done very well and the way the overall sound that halo has achieved is very inspiring and is just a preview of xbox's extremely strong audio hardware!!
Suggestions: Make The Grass More Realistic And Add Bill Gates As A Secret Player In Halo 2!Also Make It Possible for Gamers to Fight Bots And setup death matches and ctf's so the game has a lot more lasting appeal!
