(RUMOR) - GameTrailers KI Developer Diary video outs blood, Tag Team Mode
Blood, an element of the original Killer Instinct that was not present at the Xbox One version’s E3 reveal, can be seen everywhere in the following "making-of" documentary, but take note of the short off-screen gameplay shot at 10:26 in the video:
The fight taking place on-screen is clearly between previously confirmed charaters Jago and Glacius, but if you look carefully above the health-bars of each fighter, you’ll see a fighter icon that looks suspiciously similar to Riptor (the Velociraptor) from the original Killer Instinct. The name, which is near illegible, appears to begin with the letter "J" or "K" and ends in a double-"L". Could this be a relative of Riptor’s? Or just a filler name?
EVO 2013 is taking place this weekend, so it’s likely that if there is a tag-team mode in Killer Instinct, we’ll know for sure VERY shortly.
