"The name says it all! Dead or Alive Ultimate is the ultimate online 3D fighting game to have this holiday season," John Inada, Tecmo¹s Director of Marketing, said. "Once it hits store shelves, no other fighter will be able to live up to its standards." The critics agree, with top video gaming sites such as IGN scoring the title an impressive 9.2 and saying, "Dead or Alive Ultimate is indeed the Ultimate fighter on Xbox -- there is none better." While GameSpot gushed in its glowing review that, "It truly is the best, most fully featured title in the Dead or Alive series yet."
