Play Jack Black on your Xbox 360
Paramount pictures has hooked up with Xbox Live to create Xbox Movie Showcase, a service launched today to give you a stab at winning the chance to play against Hollywood film stars. You can already play music celebs in the monthly Game with Fame, but if you want more of an A-list thrill than a C-list tingle, you’d better hot foot it over to the new Movie Showcase offering. King Kong star Jack Black is already pegged as an eager participant. You’ll also be able to download extras from Paramount’s soon to be released Hollywood blockbusters – it’s warming up with Mission: Impossible III and Nacho Libre – plus cop a peek at high-def movie trailers, play around with graphics and change your Xbox Live interface to one matching the film of your choice. More than half of all Xbox 360 owners have dabbled with Xbox live, so it’s a pretty safe bet the new service will be a hit. The fact it’ll all be in high-def and free as the wind is just icing on the big fat cake. So, what’s next?
